Publisher's Summary

At nine years old, Frankie Presto is sent to America in the bottom of a boat. His only possession is an old guitar and six precious strings.

But Frankie's talent is unique, and his amazing journey weaves him through the musical landscape of the 20th century, from classical to jazz to rock and roll, with his stunning talent affecting numerous stars along the way, including Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Carole King and even KISS.

Frankie becomes a pop star himself. He makes records. He is adored. But his gift is also his burden, as he realizes that through his music, he can actually affect people's futures - with one string turning blue whenever a life is altered. At the height of his popularity, Frankie Presto vanishes. His legend grows. Only decades later does he reappear to change one last life....

Another Mitch Albom sensation!

I've read many of Mitch's books and lose myself in his writing, finding myself unable to put the books down. This is my first Mitch Albom audiobook and it certainly didn't disappoint. The blend of various narrator's was so well done and helps the listener to live and breathe everything Frankie and I can't wait to listen to another of Mitch's books.

Captivating from start to finish.

A beautifully written story of love, loss, learning, yearning and the power music can have on ones soul. So different from the authors other books, yet so similar too. An amazing read and as an audio book I loved listening to the voice of Mitch as it was meant to be read. 10/10. Thank you for writing this book in my lifetime!
