After seven years of misery and abuse, it's all over - Hannah O'Malley is officially divorced. Hallelujah. It's like every Christmas in her life all rolled up into one glorious day. Not only does Hannah get to keep her grandmother's spacious old house, but she has full custody of her sparky five-year-old daughter. All Hannah has to do now is put the past behind her.
And now that she's free, she wants to make a difference. With the help of her warm, close-knit circle of friends - including her high school crush, Travis Wilson - Hannah begins turning her home into a safe house for other women who've endured the pain she's known. But even as life and laughter return to Hannah's home, she's haunted by the memory of her dangerously unstable ex. With a second chance at love on the horizon, Hannah must face down her past in order to let the sunshine back into her life.

Classic cheesy romance, but definitely delivers on the heartwarming and hope giving element. I would recommend this if you're looking for a book that is easy to follow and enjoyable.
"They're all good!"
Carolyn Brown has written another good story. Hannah and Travis and Darcy and Cal are going to live HEA!
"Lullaby Skies reaches the stars!"
This is an awesome story for our times. Characters are engaging and full of life! Best book I have heard in some time.
"Family, love, and learning to trust again"
The narration made this book for me. Such a talented performer was needed to capture the diverse array of loveable characters. A sweet story of love and healing, of a family not just made up of blood.
"Slow pace read"
I will start off by saying, I love reading Carolyn Brown books, of course there is a but. This read was so slow, by the eighth chapter the book was still snoozing along. This book was not my cup of tea, if I wasn't listening to it at work, I don't think I would had finished it. I even tried to get into the narrator, but it appeared as if she was reading the book and ended each sentence with an abrupt ending, I not impressed.
"It's a really good book"
I have to admit I enjoy every moment of it didn't want to put down their points it was sad but uplifting. Every chapter was fulfilling till the end
"Poor writing and poor voice acting."
The author doesn't seem to realize that conflict is necessary for a story. The audience is unable to remain engaged if the only problem being resolved in the first chapter.
The voice acting is almost as bad as the writing. The accents are horrendous.
it was a story that reminded me of my own minus friends & love.....it gave me hope.
The Texas accents were nearly intollerable with the exaggerated twang and drawl. I've lived in nearly every corner of Texas and have never encountered this ridiculousness. The story itself was really weak, predictable and hallmark style. I'm disappointed in myself for picking it.
Loved this story. Hits close to home. There is a lullaby sky to all that reach for the stars. Thank you Carolyn Brown for your well written story of hope.
"lovely book, thought provoking"
i loved this book, felt for all the characters within the first half hour of listening, it ended before i wanted it too and it has left me wanting to know more, all loose ends were tied up, but not closed so there could be another made. it is a very sensitive subject, and might not be everyone's cup of tea, but really shows how you can come out the other end. would highly recommend if you like a listen that tugs on your heart strings
"What a great book"
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read about friendship, the community spirit courage and of course love.
This book was not only well written as can be expected from this author but it was well researched.
I could relate to the main characters story n I hope it would give strength, hope n courage to people going through something similar
I hope it will also give other readers the drive to talk to our girls about the signs to look out for because there are a lot of them.
