Annaliese Harper knows that one tiny mistake can jeopardize a career before it's even begun. Letting your boss find the extensive collection of porn on your personal laptop is one way. Sleeping with him is another. Liese manages to do both.
As the new librarian at a prestigious small-town private high school, Liese is drawn to her sexy, charismatic principal, Ryder Whitehall - an attraction she refuses to acknowledge given their relationship and her recent liberation from a delusional ex-boyfriend. Liese is certain Ryder's flirtation is the product of her sex-deprived imagination - until he discovers her digital porn stash during working hours and demands a private meeting. Behind closed doors, their attraction explodes into a dangerous, passionate affair that not only threatens their jobs and reputations, but most of all, their hearts.

"How stupid can a lead character get?"
If the heroine wasn't so stupid, loud and plain dumb. The narrators voice just builds on to the stupid, very young and dumb aura.
Don't know. Pucked maybe..
Just loud, shrieky and contributing to her aura as someone who can't just take a breath and simply explain. It is like "Oh My God, oh MY GOD, how embarrasing..." Instead of an intelligent and humoristic response.
Almost every scene where she can't say something smart t explain, pretty much every other dialouge with the principle.
"Couldn't even finish it..."
Let me start by saying I LOVE Helena Hunting's 'Pucked' series - or at least 3 of the 4 in that series. The stories developed slowly with rich characters and great scenes that made me laugh or just enjoy the steamy sex. But, just like I couldn't get through 'Pucked Up' (book 2 of that series), I found this book's characters and development equally flat. I kept reading, thinking it would get better, but gave up after reading 80% of the book. I couldn't wait for it to be over or for some profound shift that would make me love these characters but it never came. I think a similarity may be that the female characters in both lack depth. They seem immature and shallow, eventually just annoying me to the point that I just give up on the books. I almost can't believe the same author wrote the Pucked 1, 3 & 4 books as Pucked 2 and this one, The Librarian Principle. The stories have ranged from some of my very favorite stories ever so that I actually re-read within a week, to stories that just fail to grab me and are truly frustrating. Not sure why there's such an inconsistency in the writing, but hope she figures it out and I'm able to enjoy more of Helena Hunting's amazing stories in the future.
I read Pucked and that story was funny and I loved the characters so I thought this book would be similar. No humor and the lead female was whiney and acted like a spoiled brat. I always finish the book whether I'm intrigued or not. I couldn't wait to get this book over with.
Do I regret reading this ? No. I've read several other books by this author and loved them all to death but this one was just a bit blah.
"I need a movie of this book right now!"
The Librarian Principle was a sexy, funny and erotic story.
Helena has the ability to create sexy book boyfriends and Ryder is definitely one of them. His assholy possesive personality got me from moment one, and then, when he was all in love with Liese, he was just perfect for me.
This is my first audio narrated by Maxine, and I liked it a lot. I couldnt compare it with other.
OMG A MOVIE OF THE LIBRARIAN PRINCIPLE IS NEEDED!!
I loved The Librarian Principle book the first time I read it—check my review here, so, when I knew that there was going to be an audiobook for it, I was happy dancing and jumping up and down. Of course, I loved the audiobook like crazy, even more than I loved the story the first time I read it.
Maxine Mitchell did an amazing performance, bringing to life such amazing characters like Liese and Ryder. OMG I have to say that I suck at pronunciating names in english. When I read it, I said Liese’s name in my mind just like it sounds in “spanish” and when I first listened to her name in the audiobook I was a little lost, because I didn’t recognize the name and I had to double check in the book and make sure it was the same character hahahahah. Yes, I know, I’m crazy, and even worst, I’m crazy in spanglish, hahaha. Anyway… I loved every second of the audiobook. Maxine showed the aspect of the character’s personalities very well. The stern and domineering personality of Ryder. The carefree and lovely personality of Liese. Their chemistry together, their kinky sexy times and Oh my god, the sex scenes, everything was so awesome!

All in all, this audiobook was the perfect companion for The Librarian Principal, and I repeat myself about the story line, descriptions and characters made me feel like watching a movie, both when I read it and when I listened to it. We need a movie of the sexy principle and his beautiful kinky librarian.
"I Love Helena Hunting!"
She had me hooked with her Pucked series. Envoked so many emothions with her Cupcakes and ink series. I don't think she can write anything bad. This is just another master piece.
sweet and sexy. I loved the development of the relationship and the steaming sex scenes.
I am very tired of an angst driven romance. In this book there is some but not to the point of gut rot. Secondary characters interesting and the completion of some story lines abrupt but I would recommend this story. Narrator better at most of the male voices and women just nit Analisa's, too high
What a sweet, romantic, steamy, funny book! The narrator was excellent, Maxine Mitchell always does such a great job portraying the characters.
"Love at first page!"
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book.!! Helena Hunting never fails. Great story, amazing performance, definitely recommend it.!!!!!
Not a fan of 3rd person, but other than that it was a fun, light, easy, sexy read. Ryder was one hell of a book boyfriend, loved him. Liese was likeable, sometimes funny, especially in the beginning with the photoshopping of porn, hilarious. Enjoyable read.
