I crave him. I need him. I love him.
And that is the reason, we will all die...

Dislike!! This book frustrated me. The main character Emerson is so irritating and there are gaps in the story.
"I enjoyed the overall story, but . . . . ."
The story was enjoyable in general, but I probably won't be buying the second book. The writing, while not bad, was very juvenile, as were the emotions of the characters. I do understand that they were all juveniles, but it was a bit ridiculous. The story also came to no resolution, and apparently will be continued in the second volume. This is a no-no in my estimation. If authors want to continue a series with additional adventures using the same characters, that is great, but each book should be complete in itself. That does not happen here, so be prepared to buy all three books to actually finish the one.
love book not the main girl she was annoying. but kept reading for Marcus :)
"Juvenile beyond belief. Run away."
The world is on the edge of destruction, billions of lives balance on the edge of a razor, somebody kisses someone and makes someone else mad. But let's focus on the kiss, because that's what is important under these circumstances. When I find myself wishing that ALL of the main character die, it's time to stop listening and ask for a refund. This is the worst and most inane story I have ever heard. Time to get my money back.
"love the author but..."
I love this author and I love the series but the narrator sounds really whiney when she voices Emmy. I feel like it takes away from the story...
"angst filled with bad dialog"
The dialog is pretty bad in some parts. The lead female is super annoying. The plot is explained well but I can't get past my dislike of the lead female to want to read the second book.
"What a waste of time"
I keep waiting for it to get better. It didn't. Don't waste your time. This is not a young adults book it's a toddlers story.
"a new world for me to get lost in. love love this"
I didn't struggle with this book like I do most. it was easy to fall into the storyline in tempo with the narrators who were able to switch voices for characters without it being extremely or overly animated. it had just the right amount for each character with the right amount of emotion and inflection. I finished the quickly compared to other books. this was a good read.
" The most cringe worthy book I've ever read
The story promise, but it's lacking depth. I'd tag it as a middle school girl guilty pleasure fluff book. A girl falls in love with a guy for no other reason than he's hot? Then he falls just as hard the literal second he sees her, because, well, why? There's no explanation other than pretty words. Not because she's hot, so her personality then. The personality that showed itself the one second he glanced up? Yes of course, because its every 13yr olds dream. And oh the cringe worthy moments... I'm so embarrassed for her. I cannot like her. She's not "going for love" she wants the hot guy and she's embarrassing herself and acting like it's a bigger deal than you know, the end of the world. Which btw, many moments of which do not actually match her personality profile.
Great wording, just needs an editor to help get it where it could be.
"Best New Young Author Writers In A Long Time."
This author has specialized in creating a Parralal world to the one we live in now. Ms. Stvil is extremely creative in how she has creatived the Angels in comparison to the Biblical ones that we have read in her partial world out of her own creative writing.
