Publisher's Summary

Once upon a time, a historical romance author created a family....

But not just any family. Eight brothers and sisters, assorted in-laws, sons and daughters, nieces and nephews (not to mention an overweight corgi), plus an irrepressible matriarch who's a match for any of them.... These are the Bridgertons: less a family than a force of nature. Through eight best-selling novels, listeners laughed, cried, and fell in love. But they wanted more.

And so the listeners asked the author...

What happens next? Does Simon ever read his father's letters? Do Francesca and Michael become parents? Who would win in a Pall Mall grudge match?

Does "The End" really have to be the end?

Now, with The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After, Julia Quinn delivers eight sexy, funny, and heartwarming "2nd Epilogues" plus a bonus story about none other than the wise and witty matriarch Violet Bridgerton herself. So get to know the Bridgertons all over again - because Happily Ever After is a whole lot of fun.

Disappointed

The narrator was not as good as in previous Bridgerton books & made for hard listening. I didn’t end up finishing as I’d heard all the epilogues before.

The voice is wrong

I really loved reliving the 2nd epilogues, but the narrator’s voice was too distracting. Sounds like The Fat Controller reading romance.

Indifferent view

This was just the second epilogues from each book with the addition of a story about Violet. Her story was a nice way to finish off the series but the way the narrator did his various voices was off and ruined it slightly for me. Still a great series and don’t regret listening to this one.

Loved the story

I loved the story of this but I wish it had the old narrator that did the other books!

Different narrator

There was nothing specifically wrong with the narrator of this title, but he sounded like my high school science teacher – reedy and nasally, extremely British and a bit like he needed a cough lozenge. Super weird when he tried to do the voices of young women and very distracting in romantic scenes. It was accident hilarious though, so ya know.

Disappointed

I have loved all of the Bridgerton books and didn't realize these were all of the prologues that I have already heard at the end of the other books. I also didn't notice it was a different Narrator - I much prefer the original narrator.

Absolutely disappointed

I enjoyed the first eight books of the series but was completely disappointed by this one. The first eight chapters were really the second epilogues of the other 8 books. The final chapter on Violet wasn’t entertaining either. In addition, the narration was horrible!
