"Two unforgettable women, one spellbinding story." (Amazon.com)
"Morrissey's research into the pearling industry and the history of Broome is formidable ... she tells a good story." (The Sydney Morning Herald)
Yes. Great story, very relatable. The narrator was amazing.
The level of historical detail
I loved it all. But probably the birthing scene supported by the Aboriginal women on the beach
"I want to visit Broome"
A wonderful story. A bit too many coincidences in parts but heartwarming characters.
I guess it's a bit of Mills & Boone romance, but with an historic base story.
