Publisher's Summary

Ivy, a talented tattoo artist who spent the early part of her 20s on the move, is finally looking for a place to call home. "S York excellent...O. Song awful narrator!"

The storyline of Ivy was dead on for her character based on previous books. A bad-a** ex-navy seal is basically the only person in this world who would attract Ivy's attention so I found that to be realistic. I actually enjoy all of K.A. Tucker's books but this particular version performed by Olvia Song was almost unbearable. Every time "Ivy"'s chapter came up and she spoke in any type of "male" voice it made me want to turn it off - yes its that bad. Sebastian York is phenomenal as usual and I wish Elizabeth Louise was the narrator for Ivy hence the 3 stars for performance.

"Not my fav of hers, but mostly enjoyable"

This was good for the most part. I am not a big suspense person, but this really held my interest. I didn't love the female main character, I couldn't relate to her at all. Also, the female narrator has a nice female voice, but an awful male voice. The male narrator was great, as usual.

    "Love KA Tucker"

KA Tucker is a genius. I buy everything she writes and she knocks it out of the park!! So well written, complex and suspenseful. Loved these two and the secondary characters.

    "Pretty good"

As it definitely was not my favorite of the series I love the storyline I just didn't like the girl reader reading a guys voice as everyone else said. The Navy seal was perfect for ice and I was a great storyline

    "Best series"

I love the style of writing. The amount of suspense and romance is a perfect page turner. I'm sad Dakota doesn't get a book. I hate to see this series end but would highly recommend it.

    "fun story!"

well written, great characters and interesting story. The male voice was not my favorite but wasn't horrible. Storyline was well paced and kept me invested. I wish there had been a little more interaction between the hero and villains. more show how bad instead of tell but I loved the relationship between the main characters.

"Meh. My least favorite of her books by far."

This was a very slow moving book, with a poor plot and storyline. Usually if the book is even a bit entertaining, I will overlook silly plots, this book was not entertaining and I struggled to finish it, only to end up more disappointed.

"Not as good as the others in this series"

This book was okay. I have really enjoyed the first three and was surprised this one didn't measure up to the others. The female narrator doing a male voice was awful. They shouldn't try so hard to sound like a man. Ruins it because it sounds so cheesy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Interesting characters and interesting story

What did you like best about this story?

I listen/read for escapism and this kept my attention. I liked the main female lead - and accepted the male lead - very strong alpha males can sometimes annoy me but it wasn't too bad

    "A fantastic must read!"

This is without a doubt the best book I have read in about 12 months and I consume at least one romance every couple of weeks. I cannot recommend it enough. I love KA Tucker's stories and this one is my new favourite. I burnt through it way too quickly but could not help myself. The chemistry, the characters, the plot - it all sizzles. Ivy is a kick ass female lead. Sebastian is perfectly matched to her. Both are hot as hell. The storyline is really solid, gripping, raw, rough and real. You need to read/listen to this book pronto! P.S. Both narrators reflect the characters perfectly and do an awesome job.
