Loved it!

One of my favourite listens to date. Carolyn Bonnyman's narration was excellent. The writing and narration had a beautiful flow so at times I felt like I was listening to poetry.
Loved the story. Great characters. It even made English history enjoyable and easy to follow!
I'll be looking for more from this author.
Please note this book is the same as "The Winter Sea". So annoying when the same book is published under two different titles!

Brilliant Story

Has everything a reader wants. Such a heart warming story with such Joy and sadness. Then twists and turns. This story keeps the reader enthralled all the way through

favourite author and story

I loved Kearsley's book Marianna, and it was my absolute favourite until I heard this one. What an amazing performance and what a truly captivating storyline.

I had to slow down the narrator

The narration was the poorest I've come across in my 3 years of listening to audio books.
Weak story line.
do not recommend.
