"Life changing and transforming..."
Loved it! Narrator did a great job! Easy to listen to. couldn't stop listening at times. We're reading this book as apart of a book club at our church and it was just what we all needed right before our retreat!
I could relate to all main characters in some form and I was right there on that emotional journey with all of them.
Message that stuck with me was, sticking with what stirs me... that was the first message that has opened the door for the Spirit to do His work... It's been a great journey with these women and the disciplines learned has reawaken my hunger to delve deeper into God's love.
This is probably one if the best books I have either read or listened to! If you are looking for help in your walk with God, then this is a must! Give you some food for thought!
I love this book. Albeit "fiction", the truths & teachings found within are solid and Life-Changing! I couldn't wait to get back to listening to it. The narrator has the most beautiful, peaceful voice. Perfect for conveying the essence of the writer's words! Can't wait to listen to the next one!
This lead me on a Spiritual Retreat on my own.
A time of self discovery. Leading to a deeper relationship with God and Jesus.
I had a hard time getting through this book,. Even though it had interesting characters with their own interesting story lines, I felt like I was going through a class that was online where I was not involved. I could see some women relating to one character and it could be used by God to change their life. If I had been living the story, taking the class I might have found my own walk expressed. I was not able to do that as a listener (reader) of this book.
"Just So So"
A little slow...could not really identify with the 3 main characters.I probably would not get another by this author.
