"Overly sentimental and unrealistic"
I found the story to be maudlin and contrived. Reader does an okay job of voicing it, but my gag reflex prevented me from enjoying it, over all. I prefer a writer who is more spare and concise with her/his words
I kept waiting for something exciting or dramatic to happen. I found this book dull and predictable.
"Not a fan. Won't read the sequel."
About a weak little woman who must be carried everywhere by her big strong adoring husband. Not relatable for me. I think women are stronger than this under most any circumstances including cancer. Just not my style. Left me feeling disappointed that I finished it out of curiosity.
"The love that Josh and Claire had for each other was almost like a fairy tale."
This book was awesome, they wanted to have a family someday, will it come true for them?
Yes. It was a good story and listening again may bring to mind things I missed the first time around.
When it was discovered her mother had been in touch with her first born's adoptive parents.

"This book was outstanding, couldn't stop listening"
The fact her husband stood by her and her Dr. then she prepared a book for the baby after she felt she wouldn't be there for the baby herself.
I've never read a book so enjoyable with so much detail.
She went into detail about everything, the tumor, headaches, how to relax, how the town felt about her & her husband.
Yes it was
It brought tears to my eyes that Clare died in childbirth. But the relationship between the daughter and father is going to be so sweet.
