Publisher's Summary

Lily LeBlanc isn't versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she's definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend's boyfriend's best friend? What could possibly go wrong?

NHL player Randy Ballistic lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy's more than happy to be Lily's springboard back into the dating scene. But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone's bound to get pucked over.

    "Part 3, Awesome Good!!! "

    There are some spoilers.

I wanted to rate the girl narrator performance a 3 to 4.

But anyways this book was actually good it wasn't as hilarious as book 1 or funny as book 2, but it was too good to put down that's for sure. I knew that Randy and Lily was going to end up together in the end because they both were catching feelings for each other, especially how he was acting. With her around Alex and Benji and Carl or whatever, that fool name was.

Plus the end I thought for sure she wasn't going to end up pregnant lmao. When they didn't use a condom I was dying when Tim-Tom knocked on the door. Mess reminded me of Twilight scene with Bella and Edward with the bed situation and some other book I read where the guy actually broke the bed. I forgot what the book was called.

But I'm glad Randy found someone. Can't wait to read part 4, 4.1, and 4.5. I know it's going to be epic.

    P. S. I was also glad that Randy let her give his pecker a lick. And liked it and got with someone who didn't judge how he pecker looked.

"Jacob Morgan doing that sex scenes was SO SEXY!"

I find it's really important for the voices to be pleasant to listen to even if I adore the story as much as I adore this one. When I got to the first time Jacob Morgan was reading a sexual scene I was "engaged" fully with the narration. The girl was great, though not as fun as book 1's female narrator, but Jacob Morgan has just knocked Sebastian York to my 2nd favorite male narrator. Fantastic!

    "Violet"

Violet in the first and second book was absolutely hilarious!! In this book she is made out to be a super annoying dumb bimbo instead of her usual chill hilarious self. I could barely handle listening to some of her parts. She was my fav in the first two books so that was disappointing.

I enjoyed the first book but maybe this is just too silly. All the silly names for the private parts- magic marble, beaver. Wood. Just too juvenile for me

    Any additional comments?

The female narrator sounded a teeensie bit immature at first, but then she totally grew on me and I loved her by about 10% in. I'm like that with narrators sometimes. If they have a different tone I just have to wait until my ears adjust. But truthfully, she nailed the character....the male dialogue parts, everything. I would totally listen to more of her audiobooks! She had a Mandi Moore tone about her!
The male...whew...hot hot hot! Totally balls deep hot.
The storyline was great fun. Not a whole lot of plot but just really fun character development. It was fun to see Randy's heart fall for Lily. The chemistry between them was so sweet and fun and frothy and this was overall just a solid sports romance with great narrators. Highly recommend!

"I expected more from this author."

Let me know if you should happen to find the storyline on this clunker! I found a little bit of storyline followed by sex scene, sex scene, sex scene. The author would then give the reader a little piece of storyline followed by... You guessed it, more sex scenes. What a boring book. Save your money. I will be requesting a refund on this clunker! Frankly, I expected a hell of a lot more from this author. She should be ashamed of herself for releasing this dud!

    "Don't bother"

I couldn't listen passed 5 minutes. Granted I didn't get into the story at all, but after the droning, nearly moaning, tone of the narrator gave me 4 separate slang terms for her pubic area, I had had enough.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

YES!! Pucked Over is the sexiest, hottest, most sensual book of the series so far. Lily and Randy are sex machines! *chuckles*, and I was eager to repeat their steamiest moments on audiobook.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Pucked Over?

All the bathroom scenes!! *chuckles* Actually, to my surprise this second time to enjoy this story I was focused on more deeper aspects of their relationship, their personalities and the interaction with all their friends. And the unthinkable happened: I LOVE RANDY AND LILY MORE NOW!!

Have you listened to any of Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first time with Rose and Jacob.Jacob Morgan did an amazing performance for Randy. His voice and inflexions and different tones made Randy’s chapters super awesome to listen, but Rose Dioro didn’t do it quite good for my liking. Don’t get me wrong, her tone of voice is so Lily, and her voices for the other girls in the book were great, but her pace and the male voices wasn’t as good as I am used to. After a few chapters I decided to get over it and just enjoy the story, and despite Rose, I loved Pucked Over audiobook.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would listen to it as many times as possible just because this book as all the other books from the series are super awesome!!

    "Just ok"

At first I was about to turn off this audio and request a refund based on the female narrators voice. However I loved book 1 so much I stuck it out and kept going. Her voice grew on me and her male voice wasn't half bad. The story itself was kind of the same way, at first I wasn't too impressed but then after a while it grew on me and turned out not to be terrible, but just ok. I loved book one but this book didn't even come close for me, I don't know if it was because of the narration or the storyline or a combination of the two but I found it lacking. If you're new to the series you may enjoy it more than I did but if you are a fan of book 1 you may be disappointed as the narrators have changed and the storyline loses a little something. I'm on the fence on this one.

    "Absolutely love this book!"
    Any additional comments?

I really love this story. Randy and Lily are two of my favorite Pucked world characters.

Let me focus on my review of the audio version before my story review. The voice are a perfect match for each characters. I was so thrilled when I heard them and felt like they matched the characters in my head. Both narrarators do a great job in their performance and really nailing down the character's emotions and nailing down the scene. My one issue is that I felt like the female narrator didn't change her voice enough when speaking for either the heroine or any other female parts. The only one really recognizable was Sunny (a secondary character). A lot of times I found myself wondering if the character was having an inner dialogue or actually speaking out loud, or even wonder WHO was speaking in a group scene. Thankfully I've read the book prior to listening so I was able to figure it out and any confusion wasn't too big of a deal since I still knew the storyline. The male narrartor did a better job but again there was an issue with the voices. For the secondary characters that he would voice, he didn't stay consistent with this character traits. For instance, Lance has an Irish accent and the narrator did a great job when speaking for him with that accent. Alex has a REALLY strong Canadian accent (I know this from the book and also Alex's audiobook). When the narrator would speak for him, it was a completely normal voice, no accent whatsoever. But then when he would speak for Lily who has only a very slight Canadian accent, he spoke in that slight accent. So I just wish he was more consistent with staying true to characters. Other than that, their performance was great and I will add these two narrartos to my list of favorites.

Now on to my storyline review...Helena Hunting is one of my favorite authors. Always can be relied on for a good laugh. I love that Randy Balls is more than just a jock, more than just a pretty faced, bearded, man bun wearing hockey player. He's funny, he's sexy as hell, and caring. He falls hard without even realizing it. Lily was his perfect match. Oh and did I mention this story is HOT!?! So steamy! I didn't want this story to end. As usual with this series, I just want to live there in their world, be friends with these people, hang out at their bbq's and girls nights. It's always fun times, minimal drama and of course who doesn't love being around Violet's unfiltered mouth!

As expected, very sweet story. I'd read Pucked so knew some of the characters, however Violet just irritated me.
The story was lovely -straight forward romance no near death experiences, just plain old feelings and good nookie. I really like the characters and it was well narrated, the Scottish guy sounded more Irish to me but it's a hard accent to replicate, esp if your an American narrator.
