Grace Dillon was a champion figure skater until she moved to Thunder Point to escape the ruthless world of fame and competition. And though she's proud of the quiet, self-sufficient life she's created running a successful flower shop, she knows something is missing. Her life could use a little excitement.
In a community where there are few eligible singles, high school teacher Troy Headly appoints himself Grace's fun coach. When he suggests a little companionship with no strings attached, Grace is eager to take him up on his offer, and the two enjoy... getting to know each other. But things get complicated when Grace's past catches up with her, and she knows that's not what Troy signed up for.
Faced with losing her, Troy realizes Grace is more than just a friend with benefits. He's determined to help her fight for the life she always wished for but never believed she could have - and maybe they can find real love along the way.

"Left me hanging"
The over all story is good. The love story between Grace and Troy is good, and finding out who Grace really is, but the ending just left me cold. Some might say it was okay, but I was left feeling like, that's it? Well ok. Maybe we'll learn more in the next book.
"Love the narrator of this series"
Somewhat predictable but still my favorite audio series author and narrator I can't wait for her next one to come out!
So glad Robyn was back with another classicThunder Point series novel. I think this one might be one of the sweetest ones of all. I think I may know several ways she can go with her next novels. She has the possibility of 3 storyline in my opinion. I have been listening to a lot of murder mystery novels lately, and it was nice to listen to something with a positive twist to it!
I fell in love with reading through Robyn Carr, and am always anxious for each and every novel she writes!
"great narrating on a tired theme."
eh, still human, but getting pretty fairytale-ish. The narrator is the best part, Plummet has a gift. I wish she read for more of my favorite authors.
"Huge Robyn Carr fan"
I love Robyn Carr and this narrator and have listened to every book in this and the Virgin River Series. I was pretty disappointed with his one. I loved hearing about old characters and some connections back to Virginia River. This was just too long and too full of needless details. It was just a blah love story without many real challenges. It depressed me more than it made me happy... It just wasn't as exciting and enthralling as those that came before it. Maybe my expectations are just too high at this point but this was just disappointing. I hate writing bad reviews but this is just how I feel about this particulate book. It won't stop me from buying another Robyn Carr because I really do love her work...
Robyn Carr is a wonderful story teller. Her characters appreciate very likable and interesting. The story flows and is enjoyable. I've listened to numerous stories by Robyn Carr and not only are the stories great but the narration is outstanding. Her stories are highly recommended and make you feel good after finishing. Do your yourself a favor and listen to her stories.

can't wait for the next book in this series!
"great book great series"
loved this book as much as the others in this series. can't wait for the next.
"Quarter of the way in, and sex. Really?"
Barely a quarter of the way into the book, and they are jumping into bed.
Sorry, but that wasn't the type of "Fun Coach" I was hoping for.
Not only that, but it didn't even feel natural, more like, "Hey, we've been on a couple dates, now it's time for mattress wrestling. "
No thanks. Which is sad, as I was really enjoying the characters. Hence why two stars, rather than one. If the sex doesn't bother you, try it. Me, I had to bail.
