Charm is the key to the world. Charisma, magnetism, sex appeal - that "it" factor that can't be described. Nolan Delaney has it is spades. The infamous Mr. Romantic. And maybe he is out of my league, but I'm going to give it the old college try anyway. Because I didn't travel 2,000 miles for a job interview at his request just to be put out like trash. Don't underestimate me, Mr. Delaney. I'm really not as innocent as I look.

this author has quickly become my favorite. very smartly written and now I am hooked. even better is the author gives eobs. ..this is some of the best parts and gives a deeper level of the story than you could have imagined.
great story and characters. can't wait for the next book to be released. .. .
"Mr romantic 😱"
Me romantic was charming, sexy, and funny but omg he was kinky AF😱 but what I love about this book and can't wait to read part 3 was the twist and turns love ❤️ it
It's nothing but sex...no story. I feel cheated. I wasted my $$$ on this? So unrealistic. Seriously! If a person is into sex themed stories, then they'll love this. I'm usually fine with stories with s c involved but this just wasn't good. The heroine knows how to perform because she saw it done in a porno? Really? I had to stop listening and just dump the story. I'm really disappointed though.
The narrator has a beautiful voice but after almost every sentence you can hear her inhale. It becomes quite irritating and distracting. I would think this isn't her fault though, more the recording and production.
"Great story but..."
Love this series but left wanting a coffee and discussion with the author after listening to the "end of book sh@!." Having been a defense attorney, a prosecutor, the mother of a victim AND a person publicly falsely accused of a humiliating "offense", I appreciate the introspection offered by the author. I also respect the empathy revealed. however, I would love to see what she could do if given an understanding of the destruction wrought on lives when a victim is violated by the system and the public.
"Mr. Romantic is Hot!"
Mr. Romantic is the second book in the Misters series. The story centers around five men with a sordid past and the consequences of an event that happened ten years ago that still affects their lives to this day.
Nolan Delany aka Mr. Romantic needs someone to help manage his new resort and an unexpected applicant shows up and puts a wrench in his plans. Ivy Rockwell is a recent graduate from Brown University and she gets a very unexpected offer from a man she doesn't know about a job she never applied for. Unknown to both of them their lives are going to change forever and they'll discover (some) of the secrets about how they came to met each other.
This story starts off mysterious, we have no idea why Ivy is getting an invitation for a job and we have no idea who set it up. When Ivy and Nolan meet wow just wow the sparks are there from the start and the sexual attraction between them is potent. But as more time pass we find Nolan very weird. Like Ivy we kind of wonder is this guy psycho? Did he really do what he was accused of ten years ago? Ivy isn't sure and neither am I. He seems very dark and then he tells her his fantasy. Man is it hot. The way he describes his fantasy to her is really really hot and as I'm reading it I really want it to happen. Between all this there is Nolan's sister Claudette who is most like crazy. She keeps warning Ivy away from Nolan but as I read more I found her more and more unsettling and a major bitch. There is this whole back and forth thing between Nolan and Ivy, who is telling the truth and who is pulling the strings? I really enjoyed this book because Nolan's fantasy is a fantasy rape scene. I haven't read many fantasy rape erotica/romance's, it's not a subject most writers want to write about but I truly love these types of books because it's so out there. The idea of getting hurt or forced but knowing it could easily stop with one word, it's hot. When we finally get to the fantasy rape scene it's epic. The mind fuck is so perfect... I can't even really describe it. Ivy at one points says she can't tell if it's really fantasy or if it's real and as the reader I too couldn't tell. I spent the whole time saying to myself is the a good guy? In my head I'm going "noyesnoyesnoyes". Was Nolan an actually rapist or was this indeed a fantasy rape scene. It's the most intense moment of the book my opinion it's so well written that I as the reader am being mind fucked by reading. This book is dual pov by both Nolan and Ivy and even with Nolan's side of the story as the reader I was wondering the whole time is he crazy? or just kinky? The book ends with some closure on how Ivy get's invite for a job for Nolan's resort but we are left with a new set of questions after a scene where four of the five Misters meet to talk about the events that happened with Nolan and Ivy and it definitely gives the reader an appetite for the next Misters' stories. Wonderful story, great characters, awesome mind fucks and hot sex what more could you ask for in a book?
The narrators were great. I love Erin Mallon she brings such emotion to her narrating and she makes me forget that she's not a guy when she does the male voices. This is the first book I've listened to with Tad Branson and he's not the best but he's also not the worse male narrator I've heard. So I really enjoyed this audiobook.
"Took me by surprise."
The book is a little darker than then the first book. I love the underlying storyline about 5 guys.
"Overall a great story"
The male voice was incredibly authentic. His voice sounded age-appropriate. A lot happened in a week but, I suppose, that is the beauty of fiction.
"Whew... Another Great Once From JA Huss"
Nolan is complicated. Ivy is very real in her internal conflicts. Great characters. Great story.
Ivy by Erin Mallon. But Nolan (Tad Branson) is a close second.
I LOVE JA Huss books. Please put more on audible soon. I have listened to them all am am going through withdrawal.
"JA Huss is back with Mr. Romantic!!!"
I have to be honest, when I finished listening to Mr. Perfect I was like are you SURE JA Huss wrote this? It was a lot tamer/milder than her usual style. I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it. Being an avid Huss fan there was no way I wasn't going to give Mr. Romantic a try and I'm Soooo glad I did. It definitely felt more like a Huss novel. More heat, more mystery, more story unraveling as we learn his part in the rape accusation from their past. All the great things I love about Julie's novels are back in this one. She is one bad ass writer!!! Mr. Romantic deserves the title, and he can romance me any day!!! Fantastic narration as usual. Back off girls- HE'S MINE!!!❤️
Mr romanic I complex, angry and tortured.
this book caught me from the start.
I'm not going to give anything away about the story but to say its a must read.
Erin and Tad bring the characters to life. J A Huss has written a great series of books. I listens to Mr Romantic in one go so its time to sleep before I start listening to Mr Corporate.
"A great 2nd book"
Listen to the 1st book and loved it, so I had to listen to this one!!
The fantasy scene was so well written and read for such a taboo subject, it really brought the characters together.
Can't wait for the next one .......
"Another good book"
Second book finished, another really good read very happy with this series now for book three .
loved the book and loved this even more it really brings the characters to life x
