Enjoyable

Found the main character was less engaging than previous books by this author. Book two that follows is back to strong characters and good themes.

Good follow-up to Black Diamond

I enjoyed this story despite finding the narration overbearing at times. The narrator's interpretation of the confident and strong personalities of the main characters was a bit much.

Nevertheless there was a good plot with interesting scenes and plot twists so I enjoyed this story a s recommend it particularly if you've already listened to Black Diamond.
