totally awesome book
I have several loved Evan and Katelyn and how they fell in love but I loved Charlotte and how she was always thinking she had some sort of pregnancy problem
Evan and how he dealt with Homely aka Henry lol
yes I did I laughed, cried and in the end I felt as if I had been part of the story
Loved it all
Highly recommend . A modern love story set in wonderful rural Oregon
The main players really came to life.
I can't wait to get a hold of book two. I will have it before my next long drive for sure.
It felt real.
The rain one probably...lol
Not extreme, but I felt the appropriate emotional responses :)
I enjoyed the characters being both likeable and realistic. I don't like women 'needing' a man, but also enjoy a self aware couple who act like normal human beings would - so the author did brilliantly there. The characters were very well developed and the story wasn't dictated by a bunch of ideas, but instead, seems to flow like real life events do.
I like both
The parents of Evan
Having the baby delivered on the side of the road
"Kiss A Girl in the Rain"
This is just such a sweet contemporary romance. Evan get a wake up call when a colleague passes away, nd then his real journey begins. He decides to ride across the US on his bike. As he travels he starts to realize what is important in life. Nice narration. Fun book.
"Excellent story of finding where you belong."
This would probably have to be in the top five of the books I have read and reviewed on Audible. I enjoyed it immensely.
I love all the parts of the story where Evan gets phone calls, he thinks that it is regarding the stray dog he found, but they are about sucking him into the small town community while he is waiting on his Honda Motorcycle to be fixed.
My favorite scene is when he helps to deliver a baby with Caitlyn.
I love at the end where Caitlyn and Evan put together their "Amazing Life List" to do together. Evan messes up Caitlyn's neat typed up list by writing all over it. It is one of many cute and fun things that happens in the book.
I love all of the laughable moments in the book. It kept the story moving and light. There was never a dull moment with Evan and Caitlyn.
"Beginning of Sweet Romantic Rather Innocent Series"
Evan Chance is a highly successful lawyer with one of the biggest firms in the city. He thinks he is content until he opened up a birthday card from his parents. Included is a list on a piece of paper. It was a list he had written when he was 12 years old – a bucket list in today's terms. He laughed as he read over his aspirations as a 12-year-old. However, the list and the tasks on it, really needle at him. He decides to go for it, and takes a leave of absence from work.
One of the items on the list was to motorcycle across the country. So he puts on his leather chaps, takes his bike out of storage and sets out on his adventure.
A collision with a stray dog leaves him looking for a vet to get the dog checked out to make sure he is alright. The police officer in town happens to drive by and stops to check this situation out. It is a very tiny town, the police officer points him in the direction of the veterinarian. A house in the distance that he can easily walk to.
He knocks on the door and find the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Caitlyn Sorenson, MD - looks the dog over, announces him healthy and without injury and the new journey begins.
Held up for a few days while waiting for a motorcycle part before he can continue his journey, Evan explores the small town with his stray dog and its sexy doctor!
I really enjoyed this book. There are no deep, dark areas. The main characters' only problem is that they are both workaholics. A nice, sweet romance with no huge highs or lows. It is a bit predictable, but I have reviewed a lot of books in this genre, so it may be that I know what to expect.
It's the first in a series and I have put the rest of them on my Wish List.
Teri Schnaubelt is a most excellent performer. If you read through my reviews, you know that she is one of my favorite narrators and she ALWAYS does an impeccable job. I have yet to find a performance from her that is not professional. She has the amazing talent of telling the story and expressing the characters in a way that you are part of the experience.
Note: This book is free of any sort of strong language and the few intimate scenes, tastefully written in a way that is not offensive to most.
This is the perfect book for a lazy afternoon or evening. You will want to listen to it in one or two sittings. *I received this book in exchange for my opinions, thoughts and this review.

"It's about sex"
It is all about having sex - not my kind of book. I like wholesome books
She is a good narrator
