Publisher's Summary

What happens when the very gods depend on mortals for help? That's what three very different young women find out when they are invited to Warrior's Peak.

To Dana Steele, books and the knowledge they hold are the key to contentment. But now that search for knowledge must include the second key needed to release three souls held captive by an evil god.

She won't be alone, for she's formed fast friendships with two very different women. She can't allow herself to be distracted by the return of the man who broke her heart so long ago, for a danger beyond anyone's imagination is determined to keep her from completing her quest.

Good narration.

AUDIBLE I have loved this series for years and to listen to this in audible is just brilliant. I can do other things but still immerse myself in this wonderful world of magics, mystery and the battle between good and evil. Good narration. BOOK REVIEW 4.5 STARS - This is book 2 of a Trilogy. In this second book we get Dana’s story and boy what a story. Dana is a librarian and loves her world of books and knowledge. In book one we find out that Dana has a history with one of her brother’s best friends, Jordan who is a top selling fiction author. I know a librarian and an author. Cute. Jordan has been drawn into the quest solving team as he owns a painting which is a puzzle piece and his top selling book is based on Warriors Peak and Rowena but he doesn’t realise that. YET. Dana and Jordan have to resolve past history to help solve the clues. That makes this book a bit heavier in the romance department unlike book one which was sweet and light. A nice change of pace which does not affect the overall story. We also get more information about Rowena and Pitte in this book and go along for the ride as things start getting serious. I have owned and read the paperback version for years and this is one series I keep rereading. Now it is in eBook format I can take them on holiday with me. If you like strong women as heroines paired with really great guys, add a bit of mythology, a puzzle to be solved, throw in Celtic Gods and Goddess’s and of course the obligatory bad guy, you will love this series. Not to mention the humour, romance and intrigue that this series is.

Great Sequel

Getting to know the six characters more and a gripping end was what kept me listening to this book. The narrator is very easy to listen to.
