Great sequel to the first novel

Epic continuation of a story, spanning 70 years in the life of Adam Ross, providing a slice of Australian life during the depression, to the second world war and beyond following the stories of his friends and their next generations. Sensitively weaving in sensitive social topics and a few mad bad-guy characters to keep one coming back for more!
This author is like an Aussie version of Wilbur Smith!

Fantastic book

I really enjoyed this book and was so sad when it finished ... to read about our own outback was something special !! And the narrator was amazing as he had many voices to remember, he gave everyone a great personality ... thanks for a great read

narrator destroyed the book

The narrator completely wrecked the book. not only does he make aborigines sound like pompous english pricks his own voice is enough to give your ears a reason to bleed.... 👎
