This story was funny, sweet and sexy. The two main characters were complete opposites, and the author illustrated just why this made them work as a couple. Thier existing friendship and flirty banter was entertaining. The premise of agreeing to a marriage contract made complete sense once you get the back story. And the ending was a treat - loved the epilogue.
Both narrators performed the dual narration well, though I much preferred Ava Erickson over Teddy Hamilton.
I didn't mind the cliffhangers in between each installment because I purchased them together, and planned to read them directly after one another. And each left we wondering just how they'd overcome the obstacle.
I review for the Guilty Indulgence Review Site. This is a full review of the series.
"Great book, terrible narrator"
I wish Kendall had kept with the narrators from the first book in the series. Alexander Cendese has a nice voice, but doesn't even try to do the female parts feminine. If you start and stop your books after a few days or even hours, you can forget whose POV you're in the middle of, and think he was reading Noah's part. I loved all the books, but had to suffer through the narration on books 2 & 3 of this series.
"Hard to know who's talking!"
With only one narrator, and it being a man, you lose who is talking when. He hardly changes his voice, so hard to follow this story in audible format.
"Sweet surrender to love"
Sweet surrender to love.
Noah, carefree and in love, is trying to recover and rebuild from his mistake. All the while trying to save Tate and Cane.
Olivia, driven and focused solely on work, is trying to reconcile the confusion of her head with her heart. Saving the company and caring for her father are taking all her concentration.
They work together to save their inheritance and build it back to a strong business. Together, they are better than apart.
Trust, forgiveness and acceptance of their feelings...a few smiles, laughter and hot sex cement their marriage and future.
Fun, lighthearted read.
"Bad Narration and abrupt ending"
I wanted to like this book but it was just bad. The narration was horrible and I couldn't tell which voice the narrator was reading to be honest. I don't expect a man to sound like a woman but it was just draggy and raspy no matter which character was "talking" and then it just ended! I couldn't find Part 1 on audible for whatever reason so I missed that one and I wanted to return part 3 as well but just felt bad returning both. actually I may just return that one too. I had to rewind, re-listen, stop go back, etc. to follow what was going on and who was talking. Hitched 3 was not as bad as part 2.
"It was light and enjoyable"
Well, it is not a classic novel of dying love, but it does present something slightly different from other romance novels from nowadays. It is honest, funny, it does have some nice cliff hangers and it is great to pass the time. The narrator was cool, I mean, it was a bit funny when he did the Olivia parts hehe, yet he had a nice voice and added to the story.
This series was great Except Olivia was too whinny. I get being hurt or a past horrible relationship. The story was really great.
