Yes, I think adding JD's voice made a big difference for me.
Listening to Daniel after he found out that Claire is not human, heartbreaking.
My fave scene was where Daniel was reading to the children form the book he illustrated.
Yes, I could not wait to go back to listening to it.
A sweet, sweet story, very different from any I read in the fantasy angels genre. Daniel and Claire are made for each other, Josh was a great nemesis. I can't wait to listen to Underworld Lover.
"Senusal Bodies Unite"
Definitely i did stop and start some scenes i really enjoyed. Between Sharon Hamilton wonderful story telling and JD Hart amazing voice with his range, tone and accents this was amazing. It was utterly romantic and sensual.
oh Daniel he finds his inner strength through Claire's love and compassion. While being under Joshua's influence and he's so gorgeous
You feel that he is part of the story with his unique storytelling, his range and his ability to convey all the characters seem real. He captures Sharon Hamilton's writing into a magical experience
Yes i found the time flew while listening to this romantic story
I loved the way that JD Hart's voice made the Dark Angel Joshua so menacing, and real. I absolutely loved the letter at the end and cried while listening to it. This is a heart warming, want to believe in love ever after story that gives you such a good feel factor
"Angels with a twist"
The author captures you within her world and takes you on a unique journey between good and evil and the narrator delivers an excellent performance of all characters and emotions they experience
It was unique and the imagery was beyond words. You could see and feel the evil and good as Clare tries to save Daniel from himself while also protecting herself and Daniel from a dark angel and trying to maintain her spotless record
Yes it starts out explaining the guardian and their mission with the humans then goes further as the journey begins with Clare who has never lost a soul taking on the challenge of saving Daniel from suicide after losing the his lover, while also protecting him from a dark angel who gets off on stealing souls
Nothing absolutely loved the narration! He does an incredible job bringing the story to life with great voices and emotions you can hear through his story telling
Fun and intriguing twist on forbidden love, sweet and sensual story that is guaranteed to make you blush. Interesting characters who will keeping you listening until the very end, if you like books that will grab hold on you and take you along for the ride this author and narrator have got you covered. Would happily listen to again and again
"Oh my heavens!"
I have read/listened to this book twice. I enjoyed it even more the second time around. I’m really a “SEAL baby” and although I enjoy the occasional paranormal here and there it’s not what I usually go for. I wasn’t surprised that I enjoyed Sharon’s paranormal rendition of the heavenly kind because I expected this book to be no less than her SEAL Brotherhood Series. Sharon didn’t disappoint! I enjoyed it so much… my heart aching for Claire all the way to the unexpected end! I loved the final twist that puts everything in its place as it should be.
I think that the hierarchy of the characters was very cleverly thought out and the way in which the two worlds interact was expertly played out so that you could actually think it a possibility! You’re given amazing visions of the heavenly world and its day to day business so to speak, then you’re thrown into the underworld and it putrid inhabitants and their daily goals. Caught in the middle is Daniel, wonderful, sexy, sensitive, Daniel. As always I never give spoilers and this is no different, just going to add that although different it was just as enjoyable as Sharon’s other books that we have all come to know and love.
Sharon doesn’t just deliver a wonderful hero and heroine, she always gives us really interesting secondary characters you just want to know more about. Once again her ability to make you lose yourself in a world so different to your own is unsurpassable. You will get lost in it, you will enjoy it and you will love the characters, it’s inevitable!
If you are lucky to also have the audio version, again you won’t be disappointed because J. D. Hart is a wonderful story teller. He does “pain” so well that you will feel it! I see it as a “Radio”. Sharon creates the intricate circuits and places the chips and wires in the right place not forgetting a single piece of the hardware and then JD is the electricity that flows through each and every one of those cleverly situated circuits. AND BAM! You have a song, a play, a dramatized story of love and pain, of fear and hopelessness. Together they are MAGIC!
"Love this Angel"
This Angel looking after this mom,, wow, he was innocent as you would expect but some humor in his explorations of human love. Love this story, love this Audio with JD Hart Voice it was fabulous! The story, the voice, I love it all. It is sad, it is funny, it is sexy it is a little of everything. READ IT!
That voice the expression is awesome!
love Angels, and mother loss moving stirred my heart
How it was like any other love story out there
The letters they wrote each other
The whole thing I love how he brings the story to life Even if you're read the print version it like hearing a new story
I cried at the end it was so good
"Heavenly Lover...couldn't ask for more."
I think it's better because of the voice talent reading it. JD Hart brings the characters to life!
Of Course Claire! She's torn and doesn't know what to do at first. It reminds me a lot of a normal persons life the struggle.
He brings them to life! He gives them a voice. He makes them real. Even his girl voices are awesome :D
I would recommend this book to everyone! Please give it a shot! It is worth it. Keeps you tied into the story from the beginning. You keep listening to learn what happens to Daniel and Claire.
"There is more to heaven than pearly gates!"
Love is eternal.
When Father decides he loves Clair enough to let her become human again and enjoy the passion and love of a human existence.
J.D. Hart brought the story to life in a very believable and passionate way. His voice is very pleasant to listen to and he does awesome character voices. I even like the way he does female voices.
This story is very emotional. It made me cry to think that humans can get so lost they don't want to live anymore. It delighted me that an angel would rather have a human existence and experience all of the wonderment of life.
Sharon Hamilton is an author who obviously knows and understands the true meaning of life and love with all it's hardships and glory. I want to hear much more from her.
"A HEAVENLY DREAM FOR US PNR LOVERS"
A brand new exciting realm which is so vividly described and explained in this first taste of the battle between Heavenly Angels and Dark Angels for people's souls and futures. Sharon Hamilton's writing ability transport's and immerses you into a world where good vs evil isn't as simple as it seems and it's an all-action supernatural fest for your senses, emotions and imagination and it'll leave you craving more.
There's heaps of drama and angst during the struggle for Daniel's soul, a dilemma for Claire as to what she will give up for true love and plenty of romance and sex during their bitter struggles.
And the great narration brought it all to life so it plays like you've got your own personal movie in your head…. but sadly without the bucket of popcorn.
Worth a credit? The story absolutely grabs you and won't let you go until the bitter end and I loved every minute of it….. so YES very creditworthy and I'm eagerly off to listen to book 2 now.
