I swear every one of Kathleen Brooks, Bluegrass books were excellent. What a pleasure it is to read or listen to any of these books. This particular book was right on the mark. Absolutely love the interaction of all the characters in the whole series. Love all of the people but really love the kickass attitude and ability of Annie and Bridget. Together with Ahmed they were unbeatable. Gee really hate to see this series end. But will be waiting for anything else written by Ms. Brooks. And do hope they will be narrated by Eric G. Dove.
Love, love, love Kathleen Brooks!!! I have read all her books, can't wait for more. Mr. Dove does a wonderful job with her stories.
"Love this series"
Always love continuing characters. As usual Kathleen does not disappoint, great story. Women of Power series is excellent also.
Was so happy that Ahmed's story was finally told. He deserved to be happy after looking out for all the townsfolk of Keeneston. A beautiful and fitting conclusion to the series.
Love the series... great books ruined here by narrator. I just wish they had found someone with a real southern accent to read them:(
"Love and hate"
Love can lead to hate. But love can also triumph over hate. Ahmed's story, like Cy's, was always going to be fabulous and I had impatiently waited for it. But oh, with it came so many tears and disappointment and anger.
And then that fabulous Marcy Davies stepped up and with a whisper of shared jail time - Bluegrass Dawn, y'all - saved Ahmed.
In true Keenston fashion everyone stepped up and in one way or another helped to bring Ahmed home.
An emotional roller coaster ride from beginning till end, this was definitely worth the wait.
"Still loving Kathleen Brooks and Eric G Dove."
I love Final Vow because its about Ahmed. I have waited a long time for this book and I loved it.
Bridget because she's Ahmed soul mate.
