What do you do when your carefully planned life takes a wrong turn into hell? When Quinn Maguire, a dashing young trauma surgeon, unaccountably accepts a position as an ER physician, her new boss, Honor Blake, suspects that Quinn is hiding a dark secret. While the two declare an uneasy truce in an effort to work together, both struggle with mutual, and unexpected, attraction.
Honor, however, has more than one reason to resist her growing feelings for the attractive newcomer - not the least of which is that her heart belongs to the woman whose wedding ring she wears. Amidst the chaos and drama of a busy emergency room, Quinn and Honor must contend not only with the fragile nature of life, but also with the mysteries of the heart and the irresistible forces of fate.

I found myself not wanting the book to end. The tenderness and sincerity of the exchanges between the strong female leads was touching and yet raw. The narrator did a great job of conveying the feel of the words.
"Sexy and romantic"
One of my favorites so far. The narration is extremely well done and very sensual. The story is passionate and hot but also amazingly sweet and full of emotion. Love it.
"Hopeless Romantic Favorite"
First Radcylffe book and I wasnt disappointed! narrator was perfect! Great book & listen....story was addicting - hard to stop listening....wish there was a sequel!
"Wonderful Story with more to come I hope"
Sure...it's a good read
The romance was great
Not Yet but she has a nice voice
"I loved everything about this book!"
Great story, very romantic, a bit unbelievable in parts but overall a fun read. I am on my second listen.
"im a sucker for happy ending"
great love story, nicely read and the character were wonderful. i get a high when there is strong women leads and when they're in high position#all about women empowerment
"as always great story"
wonderful story great pacing excellent performance top drawer all the way around. I recommend highly.
"Great read "
I have a 45minute drive home from working the late shift. Listening to this book on my way home has made my drive bare able. Every evening I could not wait to listen to what would happen next. I will definitely read this author's books again.
"Not Her Best"
This one isn't a big personal favorite of mine, the characters are too iconic, a little too good to be true. Still in those times when you're between relationships or recovering from the loss of a love, reading, hearing or watching about a love this deep is therapuetic to the heart. Honor and Quinn are the type of women that everyone would like to be loved by; especially Quinn. Arlie (I'm guessing at the spelling) is a sweet irresistible little girl who will steal your heart and Linda is the friend that all of us would like to have. This book isn't filled with the most realistic women in the world, but they're both likeable, and lovable (not always the same thing) and it's a nice way to pass a few hours.
"Another great Radclyffe Love Story!!"
Not sure what took me so long to find Radclyffe. I'm completely addicted! Completely! Another great love story that didn't disappoint
"A beautiful love story"
I recommend that they listen to the preview to find if they can "get along" with the narriator for sure. The story is wonderful though, I would definately recommend to read it in some form, whether audio, print or e-reader. If you like lesbian fiction, this is a must read.
Many of Radclyffe's other titles. This is a romance with a medical setting.... of the ones I've read I'd say most like Crossroads. I have read most of Radclyffes work, and I think this is one of her best. I really enjoyed it.
I found Abby Craden to be an irritating narrator, she has this habbit of leaning on the last syllable in every sentance. She also reads the entire book in this suductive voice which kind of cheapens it.
I haven't listened to many audiobooks with narrators that might be suitible for this kind of book. I listened to Oath of Honor though, and I thought Betsy Zajko did a good job with that, so I'll have to go with Betsy Zajko.
Errrrm. I have no idea. Advertising is really not my bag.
I don't usually leave written reviews, I know that I am no good at it. I usually just leave a star rating but I felt the need to in this case as I thought the only other review that has been left was completely unfair (not to mention insulting to both the author and the readers!). While it is true that there are several erotic scenes, this is far more than a simple girl meets girl & falls into bed kind of a book.
Honor and Quinn are well developed and multifacated, realistic, and extremely likeable characters. Honor's wife Terry was tragicly killed in an accident several years before leaving her to bring up their child with the support of her mother-in-law. I thought the issue of Terry's death was handled with sensitivity and compassion from all perspectives. Quinn has troubles of her own which has led her away from the career she trained for and causes some problems both professionally and personally for the both of them. Without wanting to give too much away Honor finds the strength to allow herself to love again and Quinn not only falls in love with Honor, but also grows to love Honor's daughter & finds a place for herself in their family.
"Good story, irritating narrator"
I enjoyed the story. if it wasn't for the narrators voice, which I found annoying, I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
"Dire lesbian soft porn"
Mills & Boon readers with sapphic curiosity
Insipid characters, weak plot, shameless overuse of the word 'throat' and derivatives thereof.
A story about strong, independent, professional gay women deserves a stronger, commanding voice, not soft porn husky and voyeuristic
All of it
