From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes a mesmerizing tale of love in the big city.
Landlocked in Manhattan, rugged seaman Zack Muldoon needed a tough, no-nonsense lawyer to save his kid brother's delinquent hide. Public defender Rachel Stanislaski was not what he had in mind - until he discovered there was a lot more to the beautiful, coolheaded attorney than met the eye...and found himself falling for her, hook, line, and sinker.

I was pleasantly surprised by the narration. Before I purchased the book, I read a review by a reader who was very disappointed that the accent had been dropped by the narrator in this book. I thought it was done exactly right. Rachel was born in America, so English was her first language, unlike the older Stanislaskis siblings. Just a great romance. Thanks Nora Roberts and Christina Traister.
"Dropped the Foreign Accents!"
No they changed the accent from luring a lady, ruined the whole rest of the series for me from Luring A Lady
Love Christina Traister narrating, however she dropped the accent in book 3 and 4!
"Falling for Rachel"
A love story story of two people who meet because of a troubled young boy who needs help from each of them.
"absolutely loved it. Nora never disappoints!"
love the family story lines. when you hear the story, it's like a movie playing in your mind's eye. you feel a part of it; you connect with the characters.
"Better and better"
Loved the story lines, twists & turns
Christine Traister is marvelous. I laughed and cried right along with her.
Can't improve on perfection.
"Falling For Rachel"
Love, love, love the stories that Nora Roberts weaves but do not like the choice in narrators. It is disconcerting to hear strong characters reduced to rubbish by a nasally, whiny voice.
Worked out as expexted, but enjoyed it. Narrator male voice is so deep that had to turn up the volume making others loud.
Great. Getting set for the other books in this series. Thank you. Stay safe. LOVE
"I love listening to Christina Traister."
She becomes the character. I look forward to my next listen. Very believable and interesting.
In just a matter of weeks I have fallen in love with Nora Roberts novels especially this series about the Stanislaskis's
