Finding themselves permanently stuck in this strange new world, the gang tries to make the best of it by finding the nearest tavern and getting shitfaced. The plan goes just fine until they lose Katherine and Chaz. They soon discover that they aren't the first players Mordred has sent to this world.

I was typically unsure of this installment of the series. I hate vampires as a rule, but as this made me laugh it becomes the exception to the rule.
down side is it feels like that save the damsel in distress, despite Tim's sister doesn't realise she is in distress.
"Low-brow nerd humor that I can't get enough of!"
I can not wait for the next story to be released on audio.
I'd consider buying the books if I knew how to read, but Jonathan Sleep's narration is half the fun. His delivery is perfect.
I was laughing out loud listening to this title. Walking around laughing probably made me look a little crazy, good thing my tinfoil hat covers my headphones.
"Laughed out loud"
I have laughed out loud many times during this listening. For fans of light reading with a bunch of dick and fart jokes while trying to make a life in unfamilar, yet very familiar territory
, this series is for you. I have both read the book and grabbed the Audible version as soon as it came out, and I have to say; the narrator really brings this world to life. I can't wait for book 3 (which I have already read) to come out in audio .
Cooper, the Half-Orc, receives several magic enhancements to his physical strength in order to climb a large cliff and help their friend Stuart climb down more quickly. One of these buffs is a bardic song, so Chaz of course plays Eye of the Tiger on his lute. Effing classic.
The voices he gives to these characters absolutely makes this piece. Some of the lines could be in danger of falling flat with a bad narrator, but Jonathan absolutely kills delivery on every joke in the book. If you're into gaming culture, you will be cracking up the entire time; guaranteed.
Dungeons and Dickheads.
I listened to the whole thing in about two days. Jonathan Sleep is just fantastic with his voice acting, and Robert Bevan has a deep knowledge of D&D culture. The comedy in this book is astounding. The characters are incredibly vibrant and absolutely hilarious. I recommend it to everyone in my party.
Ok. So I decided to give this series one more try after my disappointment with book one and what a surprise, I really liked it! Book one turned me off with an overload of fart jokes and just basic disgustingness (is this a word?) After swearing I was done with the series, I used an extra credit to pick up book two and found a well written novel that was not afraid to include it's trademark fart jokes, but also a novel with a richly described world full of new characters that also came to be stuck in game due to Mordred. Suddenly the story is not only the exploration of this new world, but also how all the characters are going to work together to return to the real world. Give this one a try and you might be pleasantly surprised as well!
"Was so happy to see book two out"
this book is awesome the story to the narration is fantastic . loved the first book so much I looked for the rest of the series on here and was disappointed to find out that there was the any made so I went online and bought the books them self. Witch is saying a lot because I'm not a big reader I tend to put myself to sleep when I read .
The story is hysterical and the narrator plays it up perfectly.
Any of the D6 books. I can't get enough of them. It's also similar to NPCs, another great comedy.
The voices are amazing and distinctive.
"I sucked you mom's dick but tasted like ham. Ever since then I have swore off the cock"
"Another great entry in a great series"
These books are more fun than I could possibly express in any intelligent or meaningful way. The series is overflowing with humor, adventure, and style that is rare in modern fantasy. The clash of modern characters forced to live in a fantasy world of a role playing game is a wonderfully entertaining concept but in lesser hands could easily turn awful, however the author and narrators execution is so tonally spot on that I'm left with a huge smile on my face at the end of each installment. I can't wait to start part 3.
"people on my commuter bus must think I'm crazy"
very funny and well written book. the guy doing the narration is also really good.
This continues the story of a group of friends who after being thrown into an alternate dimension must learn to survive in it's hostile monster-strewn land. To top that each has been transforned physically into various themed characters found within a fantasy RPG game with each members gaming skills equiolent to only level ONE. In this book we meet back up after the games seeminly all powerful hostile GM dies! This seems like a good thing at first, then in the sober light of morning they question how they will possibly get back to Earth!
What this book lacks in character development and plot it more than makes up for in laugh-out-loud situations. I listen while shopping or waiting for an appointment, several times after busting into spontaneous laughter I would look up to find a whole room of people carefully watching my odd behavior!! That look of concern is the risk taken when listening to this book with earphones in public!
There are swear words almost every other sentence so if that is a deal breaker this is not the book for you. If you can handle comedic situational swearing then this book is really loads of fun! Get it and enjoy!
Just like the previous book, really well read, great characters, great plot! I highly recommend this series!
truly sublime and hilarious as ever. Robert Bevan continues to entertain with his C&C world of misfits.
"Its just gets better and better"
Great follow up from the last book. Would recommend to friends, hope there's another book.
