"SWEET, SUPER HOT COWBOY ROMANCE!"
Wow, this is one power-punched audiobook! Let's start with the dreamy narrator----OMG! Where the heck did he come from???? What a gorgeous, masculine voice of perfection with a nice, smooth Texan accent! I'm serious, Reid Kerr's voice is just delicious and natural. He does great things for this book---An already sumptuous, sweet, sexy, erotic read enhanced by Mr. Kerr.
This book was a great treat. No unnecessary drama, only a hot band of cowboy brothers who get introduced though out this book, and an incredibly hot chemical romance between Aaron and Libby. Libby, as a heroine, was sweetness personified and the reader is beckoned to root for her HEA every step of the way. You come to appreciate her love of life, as she was determined to be happy and not get burdened with small issues. It was interesting to read about a cancer patient on remission. I think that especially gave LIbby a wonderful, very grown-up character for her age. Aaron, the hero, and eldest of the brothers was a nice piece of Alpha-Male, cowboy fantasy..LOL. I appreciated how became more and more tangled in his love affair with LIbby. His growing nicknames were so sweet and endearing. Both Aaron and Libby enjoy a heated, but sweet romance that lights up as quick as wildfire with a widespread impact. But, you won't find a better pair of leads who deserve their HEA as this pair.
I enjoyed the writing as it was interlaced with fun sayings and cute metaphors. This read/listen is pretty smooth sailing. There are struggles and barriers, but they're very minimal. The focus is on the developing romance between Libby and Aaron along with the character development of the brothers.
WHEN LIBBY TOLD JOSEPH OR NOAH ABOUT HER CANCER
THE FIRST THEY WERE TOGETHER
YES, THE NARRATOR WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, I TEND TO LIKE MEN NARRATOR BETTER THAN I DO WOMEN
"Sweet and Sexy Story and Outstanding Narration"
That it managed to be both sexy and sweet and romantic
Everything, especially the narration
He was really outstanding. He voiced the male and female parts perfectly, bringing sexiness and tenderness to the sexy and romantic bits. Honestly, if the narrator hadn't been so good, it probably would have sounded a lot cornier/cheesier. He voiced it just right to make it sweet without edging into corny.
When is the next book in the series coming out on audio, Sable?? I want it badly. :)
"Perfect voice for a great sexy & sweet story"
I read this book and loved it. Sable Hunter makes you truly love the characters and keeps you wanting to know what happens next. It is the great beginning to an excellent series. The icing on the cake is Reid Kerr and his truly gifted voice. He has the perfect voice for a sexy Texas man. He could probably read me the phonebook and I'd listen.
I can't wait for all the rest of the Hell Yeah series to be released on audio.
"What a great book!"
The story of a young women been given a reprieve from her illness, and not knowing for how long. She intends to grab life with both hands, live and love to the fullest. Taking a job for a few months to help look after a family of brothers, one of whom she has had a crush on for years, she's looking for some adventure. Hoping to make some of her dreams and wishes come true.
As soon as Aron saw her there was that instant attraction. After experiencing a disasterous marriage, there was no way he was ever getting serious again, he was just looking for a casual affair, some fun. Libby just knocked him for six, with her kindhearted nature, funny little ways ( made me laugh) and a passion to please in more ways than one.
Do miracles happen....they just might.
Absolutely fun to read, laughed out loud many times and such sweet sensitivities subtly at times, revealed for all characters.
"Oh Hell Yeah!"
YES! YES! YES! This audio made me laugh, I have not laughed so hard in a long time. It even made me want to cry, this is so heart breaking but the author gives you so much hope, so much to smile and laugh about.
I LOVED them all. Each were very touching characters in their own way and each deserve a book of their own. The two man characters are very touching and you just grow to love them all. I would have to say Libby because of the way she took life by the horns and never gave up. She has so much passion not only for life but for those around her. You an see the light coming off her as she gives you rainbows at the end of the rain.
He brought a nice sexy voice, however I am spoiled with other narrators when they do each character in different ones. I felt he gave the book lots of passion and emotion that you would not have felt if you read it. I did have some issues with him but he is by far not the worse narrator I have hear. I enough this enough that I will listen to this story again and again.
There were so many parts that moved me more than I could say. I have to say when I first started listening to it and it started out with sex I said what the F*** YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Then I did feel like a fool when I found out she was reading a hot romance. LOL
The way Libby dealt with the cancer, her up beat ways, not letting anything get in her way. How she wanted to live all of her life in a few days. She brought so much joy to everyone she touched.
Aron how caring he was not only to her but the whole family, how even though life has been hard he is a strong man you can look up to.
Every bit of the sense of humor, I really did laugh my way through this book, even when you want to cry and hold each of these wonderful people you have to smile at what the author has in store for you.
Libby's real name, the joke about her crack, the horse when she fell off and lord I could go on and on.
What can I say….if you have not read anything by this author you need to. She brings so much pain, love, caring and lord so much more into this book. I do not think I have every laughed so hard or least not for a long time. OH MY GOD wait until you hear what Libby’s real name is ( I never saw that coming). I thought I would die laughing. I was right there on the ground with Aron, I am pretty sure I was slapping the ground with him. Oh and when Aron tells her he loves her crack. When she fell off the horse and he found out about it, he was so tender, I had to give them man correct that he kept it together without laughing his butt off. …that is all I am telling you BUT LORD you are going to laugh. The author has a surprise for you there as she does throughout the book. Really she has many in store for you that will keep you laughing and will just break your heart. There was only one place she couldn’t fool me and I can’t tell you where that is.
The last things Aron wants or needs is a women, the last one was enough to last a lifetime. (You do get to meet her and you will not like her. I will tell you this you will be so happy with what this author does to her) Life has a way of making us eat our words, as Aron finds out one must never say never. All it took was one look at Libby and his world just flipped on its end. One look and one word to his brothers and his life is never the same. Aaron is a strong family man, he is very alpha, a stud muffin, any women would be proud to call him her own. If this character was real there would be a lot of women falling at his feet. This man is not only built but has a wonderful mind, a great sense of humor, with a heart of gold, that you just want to pull him in your arms more than once to take his pain way.
Libby you are going to fall in love with her, she is the sweetest things, with a heart that just gives. She keeps everyone around her smiling with her caring ways. She is just what this family needs as they are what she needs. She has such a sad story to tell it will break your heart. She never lets it get her down and she lives each day as it is her last. It very well could be, she has so much she wants to do and gives her list to Aron who is floored and does not understand why she must cram so much in at one time. Libby has more than one secret she is keeping from him what will he think when he finds out she has always had a crush on him and is already head over heels for him. Just wait until you see all the trouble she gets into. Libby makes this story what it is a truly OUTSTANDING read. Her only goal is to be close to the man she loves, do as much as she can in as few days as possible and hope to live another day. She might die but she is going down fighting doing things she loves.
Let’s touch on Reid Kerr as a narrator, he isn’t the best narrator I have heard but he is by far not the worse. I was on the fence with him, at first I didn’t care to much for him the reason being he did all the characters in one voice and I am use to them being in different ones. At first he narration with emotion I felt were out of place but as the story went along he got much better. He took deep breaths when they were out o f place. I felt he had a very sexy voice, smooth and one you could listen to with no problem. The problem I had was I could hear him when he needed to take a breath but again as he went on he stopped it and make this an enjoyable listen. The highest I was going to give him was a three and at that time it was pushing it. Then he changed put more emotion into his reading and made me believe in what he was saying. He went from a very low 3 to a 3.5 and then I enjoyed most of the author so much and he does have a sexy voice which does bring a lot to the story I am moving that up to 4 stars. I feel he will grow as a wonderful narrator when he learns to take more breaths as needed where you can’t hear him do this. I honestly think he could be a very good narrator as he learns and grows. I enjoyed him so much that I will be listening to this book again down the road. I would also listen to more audio’s by time he really was a pretty good narrator.
Now for the author I am shaking my head at you, the things you came up with are outstanding. In fact I enjoyed this so much I went ahead and bought the book and audio for book 2. Sable puts a lot of emotion in her stories, she brings you so much passion, love, caring and pain. The pain will break you but the laughs will give you the high you need as she takes you through and outstanding read. There are so many parts I loved in this story I could go on all day. Her writing is easy to follow as she gives you a book you do not want to put down. Whether it be audio or reading it is a story that will stick with you long after it is over. She puts just enough passion to turn things hot as she takes you on a trip of your life. You end up wishing you were Libby just so you could share their life, family and love. I do hope the author brings these two wonderful characters back in later books. The author sets up book two for you in a way that you can’t wait to get started on it. I am going to hold out until I read the next in this series but it looks like I can add this author to my favorite author list. Thank you sable for giving me an outstanding read that kept me in stitches as you reminded me of what is important in life. I do love a book where the author gives you a lesson that some of us might have forgotten. This is a 5+ star read all the way.
"Laughter, heartache, hot loving, and a sweet HEA!"
Wonderful characters to fall in love with (and one to hate) as you travel the path of this romance watching this family envelop a young girl into their embrace.
"ouch..this book was bad!"
I read the reviews before purchasing, and I must have listen to a different book than other 2 reviewers. It was childish, completely predictible, and had zero memorable moments or believable characters! Sorry to say.. is the honest truth! Don't waist your credit on this one.....
