Falyn Fairchild can walk away from anything. Already leaving behind her car, her education, and even her parents, the daughter of the next governor of Colorado is back in her hometown, broke and waiting tables for the Bucksaw Café. After every shift, Falyn adds to her shoebox of cash, hoping to one day save enough to buy her a plane ticket to the only place she can find forgiveness: Eakins, Illinois.
The moment Taylor Maddox is seated in Falyn’s section at the Bucksaw, she knows he’s trouble. Taylor is charming, breaks promises, and is gorgeous even when covered in filth - making him everything Falyn believes a hotshot firefighter to be. Falyn isn’t interested in becoming another statistic, and for a Maddox boy, a disinterested girl is the ultimate challenge. Once Falyn learns where Taylor calls home, everything changes. In the end Maddox's persistence is met with Falyn’s talent for leaving, and for the first time Taylor may be the one to get burned.©2015 Jamie McGuire (P)2015 Audible, Inc.

"I loved it!"
Another great book in this series! I love how this series overlaps from book to book. In this book Falyn & Taylor are a "real" couple! I love her hard to get attitude in the beginning, she really made him work for it! I just liked this story all around from characters to plot to narration! Can't wait for the next one!! I want a Maddox Brother ;)
Also, The bad reviews all mention 1 thing from the book and I hate to say it but it's fiction and that incident is something that happens in real life, no body is perfect, even our book boyfriends!
Good story with likeable characters. A little predictable. Almost impossible to match the perfection of Beautiful Disaster.
I "liked" it. It was kind of sloooooww. I don't know how to explain it. I really liked the characters. The book was slow but then rushed or something and the push pull wasn't as "fun" to read. It could also be that I just liked the last book better; and of course nothing will compare to Beautiful Disaster in my head.
"I enjoyed it but...."
I did enjoy the book I just thought that she made Taylor sound like he was a bit on the stupid side and I didn't like that. other then that it was good.
"Loved this book. My favorite in the series"
This has been my favorite in the series so far. This one is the most realistic for me and i love books I can relate to.
"Addicted to the Maddox bros!"
Ever since reading about Travis and Abby in Beautiful Disaster, I have completely engulfed myself in Jamie McGuires Maddox brothers' world. Can't wait to read the next one!
overall a good book. storyline a little predictable but you fall in love with taylor and fallen.
"I really like the series"
Another enjoyable read by Jamie McGuire.
I loved finally getting to know the twins, Tyler and Taylor, or at least one of them. In the previous books they were mentioned, but we never really got any details on them. True to form, Taylor is definitely a Maddox boy.
There was some suspense and mystery, but when the surprise was revealed the story lost a little bit of interest for me. Fallon went from a strong independent woman to acting like a scared teenage girl. She was rather annoying in the second half of the story.
I can't wait for all of the Maddox secrets to be revealed. It seems like everyone is hiding something - and like Fallon said, for a family that is so close they have a lot of secrets!
"I need more of this series."
This story needs to never end. I'm addicted. That is all.
I need my own Maddox Boy...
This story just touches your heart and makes you love another Maddox brother. The love that Taylor and Falyn have is something that you want to read in every story.
Excellent. fantastic storyline to continue. love the maddox brothers so real carry on jamie worth every penny
