Publisher's Summary

In a small town where everyone knows everyone, Emma O'Donovan is different. She is the special one - beautiful, popular, powerful. And she works hard to keep it that way. Until that night....

Now she's an embarrassment. Now she's just a slut. Now she is nothing. And those pictures - those pictures that everyone has seen - mean she can never forget.

For fans of Caitlin Moran, Marian Keyes and Jodi Picoult. The award-winning, best-selling novel about the life-shattering impact of sexual assault, rape and how victims are treated.

Harrowing yet unfortunately realistic

A book that highlights the injustice, ignorance and blame mentality. This is not an uncommon scenario, it made me cry, the author and narrator truly brought the devastation of one incidence of the victim and families.
Should be essential reading for all teenagers and their parents.

Terrible way to finish a book

I was really engrossed in this book and then suddenly, it was finished, quiet abruptly. Great subject to choose for a novel, very topical but please, finish the story. I love the narrator and chose this book because Aoife McMahon was reading..

Love Aiofe McMahon

Excellent performance by Aiofe McMahon, as always. Very good book but the ending left too many things open. Wanted a bit more closure. Unfortunately, too frequent and real which made me keep listening and wanting to know what happened.
