He told me to settle. He asked what was wrong with me. He called me an easy target. That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks. I labeled him an asshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.
He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother's fraternity brother.
Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.
I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?

I was surprised.... it was pretty good. I think it was for YA though. College aged Young Adults who focus a lot on gossip
narrators were great!
"one of my favorites"
I loved it. Tijan is a wonderful Author. This is a must read. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it. So I bought the Audiobook so I could listen while I clean.
"LOVE THIS COLLEGE ROMANCE"
This book was so much more than I expected. Great characters and I loved the storyline. I couldn't stop listening!
The narrators did a great job. I loved Summer's sarcastic sense of humor and awkward quirks. Tijan's writing is funny and sad and they nailed it. I loved hearing Caden at the end! I will definitely be listening to more books from these narrators.
"UGH THIS BOOK KILLED 10,000 OF MY BRAIN CELLS!!!"
This book was not for me. It's a bunch of teenage drama. I was hoping it was going to be more like Stepbrother Dearest which was a great book. This was just a bunch of nothing. PS the narration was just as bad. The female narrators male voice was more like a 2016 Cookie Monster. SUCKED IM JUST SAYING . I did not finish so I never got to Vikas Adam narration.
"All the stars"
I often try not to write too long of a review because I don't know how many people want that much information, so I will make this short and sweet.
Funny, charming, sexy, emotional, entertaining... this audio checks ALL of my boxes. I was completely engaged, the entire book and that says a lot.
Bailey Carr narrates 90% of the book and she is positively amazing. Her voice was sweet and young and everything it should have been. Even her "male voices" were good enough to not distract from the book. Vilkas Adam only had a couple chapters but what I did hear was great. His "female voice" was kinda whiny and did pull from the story a bit but not enough to bother me. Only enough to make note.
"Could have been better but I liked it"
I have never wanted to slap a character through a book before but that's exactly what I wanted to do every time summer spoke to her step brother. His audacity was outrageous . I did love Caden's character. I loved his caring no nonsense bullshit free attitude as well as his alpha male protective side. Summer was a bit much at times but definitely had a few moments I liked. Her humor though were sometimes hit or miss. It's a decent read when you get into it.
This audiobook was enjoyable, but a little more geared to young college age kids. The narration was well done.
The narrator doesn't fit story!! She just doesn't sound right, I stopped listening at chapter 3
"Annoying as hell"
I want to say this is annoying due its about college kids....but I listen to college kids books all of the time. This book got on my last nerve. Maybe this is one of those listens that you have to read and not listen. Too much teenage BS, and I love YA books. I barley finished this book. Save your credit on this one
"Funny yet predictable"
Nothing new here for this genre, enjoyable but not memorable. Expensive as an audio book when it so unremarkable.
