Her Pup!

This story is one of the most memorable due to the story of a young human female having been caged with a New Species since she was 6 years of age and how they had been separated when she was 16. Several excellent stories about New Species were in this book.

One of the best narrators I have listened too.

One of the best narrators I have listened too. She is smooth, and seamlessly flows from one characters voice to the next, never losing stride, making this a wonderful listening experience. I was even able to listen at normal speed rather than having to speed things up. BOOK REVIEW If you are a fan of Laurann Dohner's New Species series, you cannot miss this book. It is two stories in one and brings us Mourn (140) from book 6 WRATH and HERO (927) from book 3 VALIANT. We meet these two New Species men in earlier books and these two so badly needed love. I cried and rejoiced reading these stories and celebrated their HEA’s. Whilst not as angst ridden as some of the others and lacking in the danger aspect usually happening in the background I still really enjoyed them as what they are meant to be. Closure for two people we needed to have a happy ending for. It tied up some loose ends and I appreciated it very much. The way these New Species appreciate every little thing around them after being raised in cells, labs and the abuse they have suffered, just makes me want to hug them all. I have reread these books numerous times and still love them completely each and every time I read one. You can never go wrong with this series and I thank Ms Dohner for this great read but I am still awaiting Amanda and Flames story. I have had to repurchase this book as it has gone missing from my library. Due to being republished there is also a problem with my previous reviews no longer being verified ones. Sorry to say I will not be purchasing all these newly republished books. That is a waste of money, unless I can win the lottery then it will be click click click.

Excellent

Numbers is two New Species novels together in the first we learn about Dana and Mourn. Mourn just wants to die as the grief of losing his mate is too much to live with. While he is strapped to a bed in medical a woman approaches him and attempts to get him to speak to her because she knows what he is going through. What follows is a heartfelt and charming story about love and loss and in the process the two fall for each other. In the second novel we meet Candy and Hero who knew each other as little children. This is a tragic story of human cruelty with little gems of humour and trust developed between a New Species pup and a human child locked in a cell together as an experiment by an incredibly cruel father. Both novels mix laugh out loud humour with scorching hot sexual attraction to tell the couples stories and I highly recommend the book and the series as a whole, MORE PLEASE!
