Maverick Brac has formed a pack of his own, naming them the Brac Pack. With fourteen men under him, they all have one thing in common, the preference for men. Cecil Walter was living a life no one would wish on their enemy in an abusive relationship with his partner with no way out. Getting away from pack problems and a migraine, Maverick indulges in his one secret love, Chai tea. While in the coffee shop trying to forget the world outside exists for five minutes, Maverick has found what he never thought to have, his mate, his very human mate. Rescuing Cecil from his abusive boyfriend to finding out who in his pack is trying to take Cecil's life, Maverick has his work cut out for him, but the largest challenge is getting Cecil to come out of his shell and be the man he once was.
Note: Each book in Lynn Hagen's Brac Pack collection features a different romantic couple. Each title stands alone and can be read in any order. However, we recommend reading the series in sequential order.

The humour even amidst the hard times.
Though a bit choppy between scenes at times, the story is still heart warming and wonderful! I loved Maverick's and Cecil's quirky characters and how, after a slightly rocky start, they just meshed together so well. I really enjoyed reading this when it first came out and am delighted that it has made it to audible format. Thank you for a wonderful read and listening experience!
"Start of an epic series"
This is the 1st installment in the Brac pack series; and holy crap there are 32 books in this series. As I have said in previous reviews, I grade Siren books on a 1 - 3 scale b/c they are very basic, formulaic stories that follow a set pattern. However, some storylines and characters are better than others and I did enjoy this particular first installment and will continue the series. You really have to suspend belief with Siren books and just listen to the story as a fairytale and not have any expectations of realism. It has lots of mm sex, instalove, mate in danger, must save mate, HEA. That is the story, don't expect more. Now the narrator for this series is a whole other matter. He did a really good job and really makes the listen more enjoyable than reading the book.
"First and not the last."
This is my first audiobook and I did not what to expect. I have 90% of the authors Ebooks and knew how this should flow. I was not disappointed. I will get all Lynn's audiobooks to match the ebooks I have gotten so far. Keep them coming Lynn. 😎❤️
"Read Hawks Pretty Baby Instead"
This book in the series is just before Hawk's Pretty Baby which covers the same content in a much more fun way. So buy Hawks Pretty Baby instead.
"A Sweet story"
Interesting, sweet, great
It had a good story line.
The lead role alpha
This was a great short story. It actually had a plot not just some steamy romps in the hay.
I read this book a while back. But it was worth listening to it. Gave me a whole different idea about what the characters are like.
Johnny East did a terrific job. Good voice distinction between characters and good emotion.
"Finally, now where are the good ones in the series"
Yes, I love this series by lynn hagen.
Made it longer with more detail on the characters and a little more build up.
Yes he did. Good job sir!
Nope, that would be a porno.
