After David's betrayal, the last thing I wanted to do was stay in Kansas. So I traded in my cheating husband for a one-way ticket to the land of gondolas, cobbled streets and...sexy daring Italian men kissing me in doorways? Just one...one in particular....
I'm used to it. Fast cars, glitzy galas, and a few knockout supermodels on each arm. What I'm not used to is the bronze beauty I caught reveling in the sunlight. There's something about the way she clings to me when I save her that makes me never want to let her go....

"Love after heartbreak..."
Short love story in one of the most beautiful locations in the world...
Kerry was in a relationship and it didn't end well. So she took a chance and moved away to Venice to start over to teach. She loved the beauty and fresh start.
Luca is a business man who is living the bachelor life but always looking for more. When he sees Kerry, he feels he finds it.
The story is sweet and I truly enjoyed it.

"Short Story with a little bit of Drama and Hotness"
The book was given to me in return for my unbiased honest opinion. I liked this book overall. The narration wasn't the best but it was surely not the worst. I wanted to feel the story come to life and at some parts that truly did happen for me. I love a good villain and this story does have one of those..she is evil!! Overall I love the fact that Kerry bounces back and I love that Luca is trying his best to win her. This is a good short story with levels to it for it to be less than 2 hours. Hey Veronica, you have a new fan!!
I would listen to Just in Time again because I enjoyed the interaction between Kerry and Luca and the romance was wonderful.
I loved when she left David after he cheated on her.
I loved the Luca character performance.
This was a book I wanted to read in one sitting.
I loved the story and Kerry's strength to leave David and to try a relationship with Luca.
This was a sweet story. Luca needed a woman who would love him for him and he found her in Kerry. A sweet, strong woman who moved from Kansas after discoveing her husband in her bed with her best friend. he two of them found that they could form a melding of the minds and bodies that would create harmoney in both of their lives. After a few rough moments they both came out whole. and found that love does conquer all.
Therre was just enough drama, sex and intrigue to make the stroy run smoothly. Although it was short it did not feel short. The author expanded each scene in a way that it did not feel rushed.

"Short but Sweet!!!"
Even though this is a short story I liked the chemistry between the two main characters Luca and Kerry.
I liked how Kerry's character was portrayed in the book. She was a strong female character that was smart, caring and sexy.
This is the first time that I listened to the author's work and I work listen to something else by the author.
The book was a romance that made you feel good and put a smile on your face.

"Bad Narration can ruin a book"
Yes and Yes. This book was very short but it was not bad. On the other hand the narration left something to be desired. The narrator was speaking way to fast for most of the book which really detracted from the story but it was my first from this narrator so I am willing to give them another chance.
Speaking too fast, repeating words, just rushing the story.
It was an ok read. It was instalove but I expect that in a short book. I really didn't see the connection between the characters but that did not make the story bad. One thing that didn't make sense was the reappearance of the ex-husband. It didn't add anything to the story. I would still try another book from this author.

"Just in Time"
The narrating for the audiobook was not very good. It was unclear and rushed. The storyline was okay. After I hear it I wanted my money back.
This story is short but it packs a decent punch. The writer tells a beautiful love story that doesn't feel cliched. The imagery sucks you into the story as if you are touring Venice as well. I loved this love story. Well done and kudos!!! Highly recommend! The narrator does a decent job and doesn't use insanely weird voice. It feels relaxed from start to finish.
