This is a full-length companion novel to the New York Times best-selling Fixed Trilogy. It is not meant to be read as a stand-alone. "I can easily divide my life into two parts - before her and after." Hudson Pierce has led a life few others could even imagine. With money and power at his fingertips, he's wanted for almost nothing. He's never experienced love, however, and he's seen few examples of it in his dysfunctional family. The ridiculous notion of romance has always intrigued him. He's studied it, controlled it, manipulated it, and has yet to understand it. Until he meets Alayna Withers. Now, the games he's played in his quest for comprehension can finally come to an end. Or are they just beginning? Told from his point of view, Hudson fills the holes in his love story with Alayna Withers. His past and relationship with his long-time friend Celia is further revealed and light is shed on his actions during his courtship with Alayna. Must be read after The Fixed Trilogy. Book One: Fixed On You Book Two: Found in You Book Three: Forever with You Companion: Hudson

Was looking forward to reading this book as it was to be told from a male perspective. Unfortunately I find no male in the book - or only a little male. It is very female and therefore disappointing to me.
This assessment is more about me and voices but I have not enjoyed the tone nor emphasis of the reader. I consider this have influenced my overall view of this book.
Tell us about yourself!
It was good to hear Hudson's story ... Made my heart melt so well written .. Give more in series packages anytime ... Just as good as 50 shades of Grey!!!
Loved it !! Loved it!!!
I felt like the story jumped a little - obviously we go back and forth from past to present but the 'present' felt a little muddled. A lot of time spent focusing on insignificant events and rushed through defining moments. However really loved hearing the story from Hudsons point of view
"FINALLY ALL THE PIECES TO THEIR BITTERSWEET STORY"
Now I'll be totally honest, at the start of this listen I really didn't think I was going to like it as I had such fond memories of Hudson and Alayna by the end of their trilogy and this starts off totally different. It portrays Hudson as a manipulative, sadistic, cold-hearted, nasty bastard who, along with his Queen of Bitches friend Celia, planned the terrible hurtful scam against the vulnerable unknowing and innocent Alanya.
It doesn't repeat the story we've already heard, in touches on some scenes, but it's told from Hudson's POV and flashes back and forth in time giving the reasons and history behind why they did what they did and the devastating and heartbreaking consequences that followed after their twisted, bitter and damaged minds fixed onto Alayna for their next 'emotional experiment'. But, as the story unfolds, it explains just why they are both so emotionally broken and why they are playing with other people's lives and fills in the gaps from the other side of the story.
It's raw, powerful, gritty, terrible, heartbreaking, romantic, tender and beautiful and answers so many questions and his Proposal and the Epilogue.... well if you've loved their story, that'll have you in tears.
Worth a credit? IMHO, a MUST for any Fixed fan but be please be prepared to hate Hudson for most of the book and wait for his climactic downfall when he realises he's lost the love of his life but then you can rejoice when he lovingly puts his heart and soul into winning her back. It's so well written, emotional, tragic and bitter but it's also a well narrated story about character growth, healing, understanding, forgiveness and the unconditional power of a beautiful love. So, worth the credit..... HELL YEAH. But must be listened to after their moving trilogy.
"Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews"
I'm glad I used my extra credit to read this fourth book in the series. I did have to speed up the narration, since the speaker spoke so slowly. And, I skipped the chapters about the before story. Just wasn't interested in that. But, the rest of it was great.
"Yes it's a recap"
It's is in a nutshell a recap BUT I'm glade I got it. It showed you his point of view and I still found it interesting maybe you will also.
"Extremely hot alpha male and great narration"
Hudson, he is my new favorite book boyfriend. Great alpha male!
Hudson by far!!!!!!!!
I think tthis is his first one, hopefully not the last one! Love his voice!
The hot scenes were steamy!
"Amazing Hudson Pierce!"
So crazy, sexy and fun! I loved it all! I read the trilogy first and now this.... I didn't want it to end!!
"Don't waste the credit"
Yes - Loved the Fixed Series - but Hudson was a waste of time and money. The background provided was not worth the time it took to listen.
Yes - all of the Fixed Series - Hudson was the dissappointment.
All of them -
I highly recommend the " Fixed" series , but if you were looking for more with the final installment - Save your time and your credit. It was a big let-down for me!
"Good but not needed"
Book was well written but retells the trilogy but from a different character. So story not new which is something did not like. Perspective is different but not enough that I'd recommend the purchase. Choose trilogy or this one. Both not needed.
"Interesting but long winded"
It was nice to hear Hudson perspective but it would have been better if it had been imbedded in the original book. It was long with little movement to keep reader engaged.
"love love love"
I loved every minute of Hudson! it was a perfect ending to this series
"loved that it covered the entire series"
having Hudson perspective helps him to not look like a total ass. I love how they bonded through imperfections
I have to admit that I loved the Fixed trilogy so I was very excited when I found out that we get the story told from Hudson's perspective as I found I had previously had very little sympathy for him.
Not so now, now I might have a slight literary crush on Hudson!
This really is just a retelling of the tale with a few choice moments from Hudson's past thrown in. That's not much you might say but light is thrown on not only Hudson's back story but Celia as well. And I hate to admit it but I now, kind of, fell sorry for Celia and I really hate her. Also this book confirmed what I always suspected and that's the Mira is awesome. I loved her already but she's just awesome.
I also had this as an audio from Audible and the voice actor, James Patrick Nelson, was just melt your socks off HOT!!
Loved the book and how it was read out ,listened to the book in 24h. if you read the first books then it's a must to follow up
"A good ending to a good story."
A brilliant way to finish the story in the previous 3 books. The narrator's voice was a bit depressing to listen to for long, it kept sending me to sleep, but a great story all the same.
Loved this book well written and well read. was a great finish to the trilogy
"hot, hot, hot"

"I'm fixed on this set"
This trilogy is excellent. I felt every emotion in the book as if I was on the journey with alana and Hudson.
