Our choices are rarely cut and dry.
As the daughter of Senator and presidential hopeful Jentsen Holbrook, I spent a good deal of my life under public scrutiny. What I wore. Where I went. Who I dated. It was just the way of things. I'd become what was expected of me, until I ran from my obligations and woke up one morning in Cross de Raven's and Eryk Hale's world, two hot guitarists from the mega-famous metal band, Cinder. For the first time, freedom to be myself was within my reach. And along with that? Inevitable scandal.
True beauty walked into my life, more beauty than I ever deserved. I partied hard. Rocked harder. I wasn't good enough to touch Sara's petal-soft skin, hold on tight, or love her, but regardless of my bad boy ways, no one was going to stop me from trying.
Sometimes, no matter how hard we fight for what we want, love won't save the day, and truth doesn't always set you free. Then again. maybe, just maybe, when you find the one you've been searching for, love can find a way.

"Cross, Eryk and Sara Make Beautiful Music Together"
La Petite Mort & Ruby Rivers brings to life Eryk, Cross, and Sara. They truly blew me away with the emotions they put into each and every word.
La Petite Mort brings another dimension to Eryk and Cross that will overheat you in ways you never expected. I suggest you prepare to have those panties melt, because they will.
Ruby's Sara is just they way you would expect this strong, independent woman to be. The connection you'll feel to Sara grows stronger with each step, like you're by her side as she takes control of the future she desires and not the one her father tries to push on her.
Every Single Part of You was already a favorite of mine, but after listen to it, that love grew exponentially.
I am going to begin this review by first talking about the story. The story had high points, low points, and everything in between. There were times that I really enjoyed the erotic storyline and other times I was left shaking my head thinking "no way." I think there were a lot of times that this book was predictable and that drew from the suspense and angst of the story.
Now lets move into narration. I had a difficult time initially with the rapid talking that Ruby delivered. It was like it was a race. Once I was able to move past that, I was frustrated from beginning to end with her incessant breathy tone even when she was not speaking in character. It was highly distracting for her to narrate the whole thing in a sex operator voice. I had a very hard time listening for long periods because of this. Then it also became distracting having a male jumping in at random spots in the narration too.
I think I would have much rather read this in digital copy. I think that narration ruined the story for me. Three hearts from Romance Authors That Rock.
"This book was good"
The story on this book was good but from the beginning didn't like the narration it was so hard to focus it sounded like robots and to listen to forth three chapters sounded like robots not good now everyone is different just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean it won't be for someone else the storyline was awesome definitely lots of sex.
"Liked the story but.."
I liked the story itself but the narration was not great. The story was read, in what felt, like a rush. It sound like she could hurry to get the words out. I think I would have enjoyed this story better had it had a different narrator.
For the story itself it did seem a little far fetch but I enjoyed it never the less.
I mean even with bad narration the story was hot and steamy. Two well hung men at your beck and call. What woman wouldn't want that!
I loved how all the characters interact and they drew my attention as much as the leads.
I say give this audio a try if you can handle the narration.
