Silent Twin starts out on the slow side introducing the characters involved. Once that is done the plot becomes more involved.
There are twists and turns and secondary stories. That are not fully revealed until the end.
Well worth the listen.
"Good book. Got a bit boring in the middle but grew in intensity toward the end."
Invigorating, infectious, imperious. After getting into this author's writing style, it was hard to put the boo k down.
"Do I know you?"
I went back and forth about who did it the whole book!!! Who did it?? I listened to this book on my way to and from work and hated to turn it off when I arrived!!
A fantastic read!!!
"Held me until the end"
Very good story. This was the first book in the series I listened to so now I need to go back and listen to the first two. You don't need to go through the first books before this one. It didn't sound like it carried from a previous storyline. If you like mysteries with some suspense, this book is for you. Caroline Mitchell is getting added to my list of favorite authors.
I can only rave about this book--the plot, the character development and the narration. I will be reading more from this author!!
This book was very good, kept me wanting to hear more.
Would recommend it. Thought I'd have it figured out then I'd be wrong.
"Another Great Author Find!"
So many twists and turns that the ending takes you by surprise! Keeps your interest, well written story. I want more!
"Wrong Voice for this story"
I finished it, but didn't care at all for the person storytelling . Done.
"Kept me guessing"
It was an interesting story! I could never have guessed how it would of ended.
"If you having nice to say!"
I have nothing nice to say about this book, it actually got to the point that I didn't care if they found her!!
I listened to this on audio, rather than read it – I wish I had read it. I’ll admit, one of the reasons why is because the narrator grated on me. But the second reason? So that I could have got through it faster! I was desperate to know what the heck was going on, where little Abigail could be, and who had taken her. This is my first Caroline Mitchell read, but won’t be the last. The clever, subtle use of the paranormal is just enough to give the tale an extra edge, but isn’t over used at all.
