I HAVE READ ALL THE SHERLOCK HOLMES STORIES OWN MOST OF THE RECORDING OF THOSE STORIES AND FIND NONE OF THE DEPTH THAT MAKE THE ORIGINALS SO GOOD IN THIS THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES
Awful stories, rubbish, so predictable and there's no real investigation into any of the crimes. One minute the crime happens, the next Holmes says who the culprit is. Having been a Sherlock Holmes fan for 40 years, this was a real disappointment
"Awful, awful, awful"
If you have read and enjoyed the originals, I doubt you will like this. Nothing like the work of Doyle. The mysteries are dashed out and solved in a matter of minutes, giving the reader no clue as to the solution. Frequently the reader is taken from a position where they are at a loss to explain what has happened, only to find that a moment later a poorly voiced Sherlock is recanting an explanation based upon 'data' that has never previously appeared in the story. Try some of Bert Coules additions to this excellent series; they are immeasurably better than this drivel.
