Always funny crime novels.

I read this book in 2000 and really enjoyed listening to it this time. Hiassen, Always good for a laugh.

The dog is the wrong colour

This tale of obscene characters is a thrilling ride from start to finish.
My one personal issue with the book is that I found none of them to be particularly likeable.
This made it tricky at times to come back to.
Personal preference I know, others may love the individuals depicted.

The story is excellent and enjoyable to the very end.

The narration by Nick Sullivan is the best I have heard so far of any individual. His ability to maintain and take on the speech patterns and voices of each character is truly impressive.

The small thing that really bugs me however, the dog on the cover is the wrong colour. The dog in the story is black and this is mentioned over and over again, and yet they still depicted it as white on the cover? What’s that about?
