A magical retelling of the serpent war saga thank you so much for bringing all the characters to life in which we share in their happiness, sadness, Loss and love.
"My thoughts on this story"
I enjoyed the story. The characters are well rounded but you must read the previous books to truly understand the plot. Even though there is alot of war strategy it is not over whelming or tedious but constant with the need of the story. All in all a good continuation of a sequel from a brilliant start "Magication".
"same same but different"
Overall it was enjoyable, at least I wanted to finish it. However I didn't really feel that there was a strong storyline, it felt a little desperate. I was almost relieved when it finished so that I could move on.
"What a great listen"
Another epic tale from the master! Particularly enjoyed this one, it got emotional. Straight onto the next one....
"Great book, terrible narrater."
An amazingly written book is ruined yet again by Peter Joyce. He 'assigns' an accent to a character then forgets it 2 chapters later. His perplexing pronunciation is honestly the most annoying thing though..
Classic Feist, really enjoyed listening to this. Sorry when it ended! Really like the narrator, some books are ruined by poor narrator but this isn't one of them.
Keep them coming Raymond. Can't get enough of the characters, the locations or the stories.
The rift war saga is on par with the dark tower series for its depth and detailed descriptive stories. The characters are great as is the dead pan humour
