"What is with the main male lead's horrible voice?"
Why did you let the reader ruin, maybe, a good, even a great book by putting on such a stupid accent for the male lead? It not only ruined the book, it completed grated on my nerves! I usually have no issues finish all the audio books I buy, but every time I heard Luke I wanted to throw my player across the room. The lead lady wasnt likable at all, but that usually isn't a problem, you can get through a book if you don't connect with the lead characters, but not a annoyingly, stupid accent.
Nothing by this reader, I never want to risk another stupid voice again, so unpleasant.
I marked so low because I spent the whole time scared that Luke was going to talk, well, for the little bit of time I listened. How the hell am I suppose to find anything good about the book, if I was scared that one of the main characters was going to say something.
Why, Tara, did you ruin this book with such a horrible accent? It changes with every word he says, so I don't even know where Luke is meant to be from. So bad, and a complete waste of money!
"Kill For Me was better then Scream For Me"
I first heard Scream for me which I listened to if I had things to do, but Kill For Me had me listening till it was finished I couldn't take my headphones off you learn everything that wasn't explained in the first Scream For Me. No spoilers would very much recommend Karen Rose Kill For Me. The twist and truths enough make your head spin well mine did lol...
"Too many characters"
I nearly gave up on this but decided to push on with it. There are so many characters that I started to get a bit confused about who did what etc.. ... I tend to listen while I am doing cooking or housework or similar so maybe I don't give 100% attention, but I did find it a bit of a struggle.
I also realised why I haven't bought any Karen Rose for a while. I don't enjoy the references to how on a new meeting 'our hero' wants to sleep with ...... and the general sexual tone where it is not appropriate. I am not a prude, but I don't enjoy looking onto private situations and thoughts!
The story was OK, a trifle far fetched, a reasonable idea, just taken to an extreme.
"Loving this author"
Gripping, Enthralling, Excellent
That it kept you interested all the way through. It had lots of twists and turns but also linked well to the previous books in this series
Good narration, like how she changes voices well for the different characters
Kill for me!
"A great listion"
I've read this but listioning gave me s chance to rnjoy the twists and turns indepth a second time
"Riveting as always."
Karen rose has done it again. Gripping story, complex yet relatable characters. Love this book.
I like listening to kill for me while I'm falling asleep I like this book
"Lost the will to live"
I found the story disjointed, wasn't overly keen on the narrator and I just couldn't get into it.
I listen to an audio book every few days whilst on car journeys and dog walking. I have listened to books by Karen Rose before and enjoyed them.
Only in a story that flows better.
"hard to stop listening"
