Great, enjoyable short story; wish it had continued for longer.
Nice psychology In this one...good
writing...well read...thanks audible it's great to get something good for nothing.
"The author leaves a lot to the imagination"
It was free and I wanted a break before listening to the final 2 of 5 new releases this week. The first three (The Whistler by John Grisham, Livia Lone by Barry Eisler, and Disruption by Chuck Barrett) have been interesting and I have written brief reviews of each. High Heat by Richard Castle is up next (the Nikki Heat series tends to be very light mysteries). The Window Man is one in a series of Killer Women short stories by this British author. The stories are creepy!
but there are pleanty of them out there. written well enough to keep my attention and with my ADD, tjat"s saying something.
"Good but easily guessed ending"
It's a good short story but I knew what the ending was going to be the whole time.
awful terrible bad. the worst book ever. I wish I could delete it but the app won't let me.
story is very creepy but it was a very quick read would like to read more stories of the author

The Window Man is the first story in the Killer Women: Crime Club Anthology #1 collection.
A short story from an author new to me. We get suspense, drama, and a surprisingly twist in the end. I will look for more from this author.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Clare Corbett performance was riveting.
This is a quick listen and it was free from Audible.
story ended just as it was getting good. I thought that it was a pause to begin a new chapter but sadly it was the end
"very gritty and action pack!"
this is a good but never a dull moment very entertaining. can't stop listening heard the whole audio in the same day... Very suspenseful you will not want to stop listening.
I loves this story! It was interesting, the perfect length and great characters.
"Far too short"
Far too short to get any real sense of what's going on. It barely held my attention.
Excellent story, well written, well narrated and a brilliant twist at the end - will certainly be looking up more by the same author!
"A Tale of the Unexpected"
Unusual story, didn't see the ending coming. Superb narrator Clare Corbett added greatly to the experience and was entirely without the bizarre vocal inflections that can jar so much when you have someone's voice literally in your head.
I am temporarily without reading glasses so Audible is proving invaluable and has the added benefit of allowing me to get on with other things as I listen. (Does anyone else find that listening in bed works faster than a Mogadon?)
This short story was a free download and based on this I will certainly try another Louise Millar book.
"Predictable but fun"
I enjoyed the story but felt it was a bit obvious. The writing was good.
spent most of the time attempting to figure out the importance of the window man. great short story
