Publisher's Summary
Margot Lewis is the agony aunt for The Cambridge Examiner. Her advice column, Dear Amy, gets all kinds of letters - but none like the one she's just received: 'Dear Amy, I don't know where I am. I've been kidnapped and am being held prisoner by a strange man. I'm afraid he'll kill me. Please help me soon, Bethan Avery.'
Bethan Avery has been missing for nearly two decades. This is surely some cruel hoax. But as more letters arrive, they contain information that was never made public. How is this happening? Answering this question will cost Margot everything....

Totally engrossing.
This is a very well written book. The multiple layers add depth and kept me hooked to the end. I enjoyed it even more than "Everything is Lies". Can't wait for more by this author.

Wow what a great book
I bought this as I’d already heard the other book by this author. This book was so much better and I loved the first book.
I didn’t want this book to end. Great story, really likeable characters and brilliant narration.
10/10

Gripping... confronting and disturbing.
Superbly performed and beautifully written psycho thriller. It was both disturbing and addictive. I could see and feel everything in the book.

Suspenseful and complex
I enjoyed this book. The performances were excellent and really brought the characters to life making me hold my breath in suspense in a few scenes. The storyline was complex which for the most part kept me fully engrossed, but it was a little too complex in some areas and made a few leaps that I didn’t quite follow. Overall though an excellent listen.

Excellent, not to be missed,
Moving and memorable story which evolves with intrigue. The characters are very real. you are constantly provoked into wanting to know what will happen next.
Narrated with perfect empathy for the story. Brilliant and unique, I loved it.

alright...
I enjoyed the first 3/4, then I found the twist a little hard to accept. But overall I thought I was alright. I like the narrators, it was performed well.
However, I really think there should be a trigger warning for parts of this book. I went back through the title details and past reviews and there wasn't anything to warn of this but at times it is very confronting (towards the end of the book).

Great story, wonderful performances.
I was a little worried after reading reviews, and reading Helen’s second book Everything is Lies previously, which I found a little predictable and not really engaging. Dear Amy was a delightful surprise, with a perfect balance of character development, mystery and resolution. Definitely worthwhile, and would read again
