Another enjoyable Daisy adventure
Overall a good listen, though not as good as the previous couple of books, a bit of a weak story. This narrator is somewhat lacking, many mispronunciations. It’s a shame the first narrator didn’t continue.

Light, entertaining mystery
The delightful Daisy is back as are the growing cast of friends and characters that make this a pleasure to listen to.

Light and Engaging
Carola Dunn writes an engaging group of characters into traditional detective fiction set in 1920s Britain. I have listened to four other titles in the series.
The only negative is the appalling mispronunciations by the narrators. Cringingly bad at times.

Not the best in the series
I found this book so hard to finish. It dragged on and was really quite silly

Lazy
It would have taken very little effort for the narrator to find out how to pronounce the place names. Google would have done it. Instead, Hereford is pronounced "hear-ford", Worcester is mangled, as are the Malvern Hills. Time after time, the narrator goes unerringly for the wrong pronunciation. For a native British person, it's incredibly irritating and distracting. For the rest, the story isn't the best from this series, but it is light and engaging - if only it weren't for the ridiculous and lazy pronunciations!

Oh, dear....
Done to death kidnap tale. Uncertain whether it was intended as a farce. Slappable characters.
Appalling narration. Lovely voice but the worst and inconsistent pronunciation of basic English words.
