Der amerikanische Präsident gibt den Befehl, die saudische Ölindustrie militärisch zu sichern, was islamistische Fundamentalisten auf den Plan ruft. Die Folge: Unruhen, Kämpfe und eine Wirtschaftskrise ohne Beispiel. Doch da ist ja noch Markus. Lange Zeit sieht es so aus, als könne er das Ruder mit Hilfe des mysteriösen Ölsuchverfahrens noch einmal in letzter Minute herumwerfen, ganz wie ein klassischer Filmheld.
Doch dann muss Markus feststellen, dass die Dinge in der Wirklichkeit leider nicht ganz so laufen wie im Film...
