A perfect crime-thriller

I cannot fault it on any score. Initially I bought it because over time I've come to think the quality of a narrator makes or breaks an audiobook, and Sean Barrett is one of my top three.
So thanks to Barrett I've now discovered Giuttari, who is an amazing writer, one who deals fearlessly with some very difficult topics, but coping with it as his leading character does - face facts squarely but don't dwell on every small gory detail and never (thanks be) start trying to roam around in a villain's brain. The scene between the lead character and the old Don is masterful.
