Face it - being a young adult in the digital era is one of the hardest things to be. Well, maybe there are harder things in life…but being an adult is difficult! So Grace Helbig has written a guide that’s perfect for anyone who is faced with the daunting task of becoming an adult.
Infused with her trademark saucy, sweet, and funny voice, Grace’s Guide is a tongue-in-cheek handbook for millennials, encompassing everything a young or new (or regular or old) adult needs to know, from surviving a breakup to recovering from a hangover. Read by the author in her inimitable style, Grace’s Guide features interactive elements and exclusive stories from Grace’s own misadventures - like losing her virginity solely because her date took her to a Macaroni Grill - and many other hilarious lessons she learned the hard way.
Amusing and unexpectedly educational, this refreshing and colorful guide proves that becoming an adult doesn’t necessarily mean you have to grow up.

Grace's Guide was one of the best 5 hours I have ever had, it was fun and whimsical and didn't take itself too seriously. All the while bestowing worthwhile life lessons in a fun and lighthearted way. Grace's Guide takes you on the journey of "pretending to be a grown-up" and living live to the fullest by seeing the good in every situation you're through into. Grace's Guide is exactly what it claims to be. it gives you a fun few hours of entertainment and inspires you to live your life without constant worrying. It is the guide to how to be a grown-up, (while still having a bit of fun).
I was expecting hilarity & I wasn't disappointed. This made my hour long bus ride to work way more interesting than normal. All the humour and wit of her videos with the added bonus of being edited for grammar and spelling, what a treat!
Terrible! No point to the whole book except author saying random comments trying to be funny, which she is not. I managed about 40 mins before turning it off.
"Good entertainment for airplane rides"
I listened to the whole book while I was flying to spring break. I'm subscribed to Grace's Chanel on YouTube and I am used to great consistent quality, and I was not disappointed. It's not an exciting book, but one for relaxation.
The book was pretty funny, and had a couple of good tips, while providing somewhat of an autobiography.
My only complaint is that I expected to get an overall bigger message from the book, but I don't feel like that aspect was as strong as the humor.
Other than that, I had a good time listening to the book, and made my flight actually enjoyable. Good job Grace!
"Better than I had even hoped!"
This is the first comedy audio book in my library and it has certainly raised the bar for others. She perfectly narrates with the sass and clarity she does in her videos. She shares her ups, downs, and everything in between to help anyone who does have their shit together...aka everyone!
Jersey hair poof.
Eat Shit! jk don't that bad for you...Just the tip.
Truly Grace thank you for sharing your experience and advice. I am 24 and do not have a clue of what I am doing. You have helped me understand myself and provided much needed tips on how to adult. Thank you.
I really really loved this book! I just wish it was longer ;) It made me laugh and. It made me really think about some stuff, it also motivated me! I will definetly listen to this again!!
"Amazing! Actually had some great advice!"
absolutely loved it.
had actually some great advice and the entire book was based with such relatable stories. I genuinely loved it.v
I loved this book so much! It was so fun and funny to listen to! I'm going into 7th grade and using this as my book report book lol... Let's see how that goes!
Grace Helbig is so hilarious and awkward i love her so much! Having the book read to me in her voice made it 20 times better! Thanks Grace!
She wrote this book perfectly and it's HILARIOUS I couldn't stop laughing and I really enjoyed it!!!
Grace is never anything but herself and that's always vastly entertaining and relatable. A book for people who understand anxiety and want to try and fine some humor in their own, it's just a feel good ride the entire time,
"A+ Book for her followers!"
If you follow Grace on any of her many platforms then this is the book for you, and hey even if you don't follow her on the interwebs definitely give this book a chance to open you up to Grace Helbig. It is a easy read, where she keeps you engaged and laughing the way through!!
sweet, funny and actually quite useful! the most amazing part is that it is Grace herself reading. it feels like she is talking to you directly;)
"Amusing and yet incredibly useful"
I love watching Grace's videos online and I think supporting new media is paramount but after having a bit of a difficult couple of months with issues described in the book I've definitely found some of the advice here useful and I'll be referring to them when my anxiety hits a high point again.
"Really easy, enjoyable listen."
I haven't read the print version but I really liked that she was the narrator so it's the same voice I'd be hearing had I actually read it.
I really liked how relatable and funny it was. I liked how I was essentially just being nosey and learning about her and the world.
My favourite 'part' of the book was when she was describing her first 'college' experience I think, I can't remember where in the book this is but it was most relatable I suppose since I was on my way home from university.
Yes! I tend to read books in one sitting anyway but with audiobooks I find it easier to stop, this was something I wanted to carry on listening to even whilst the ticket man on the train was trying to talk to me.
"I Don't Know"
One of my favourite audiobooks. It was so good. Funny and witty. Grace is queen!
I listen to this traveling and it was a great book I do recommend this book
I will get the book
"Waste of money for over 18s"
Great book if you're between 16-18 years old...otherwise a complete waste of time. This book teaches you all that you already know
"Love it! Officially obsessed..."
I was highly anticipating this book as I am a huge fan of Grace Helbig and it did not disappoint! A great mix of hilarious yet useful- I can't stop listening to it! I wish I could give it 6 stars :)
Excellently identifiable, witty and kind. But I have a number in my Twitter handle so don't take me seriously! Beaut.
