Perfect time with Nigel Hawthorne!

What a slow start…but delight. Characters you can see, a tinge of humour everywhere, and enough storyline for the period… just a great distraction from busy life .

Delightful and engaging

Trollope’s glowing prose and dialogue, coupled with Hawthorne’s stellar interpretation of the characters, make listening to this recording a double delight.
