Great stories but hard to listen to

No offence to the narrator but this was a bad match for the book. The choice of stories was great so it was a real disappointment to hear the English female as the reader - just didn't fit.

the most inapt performance I have ever heard.

I bought this book because I was well pleased with the works of these great writers. However, an English female accent didn't suit the material. It didn't engage me, but rather became background rambling.

What a waste of a credit

Awful accent, made it to the second story and so annoyed I gave up. Arrh!
