Mary was too good to believe

listened heaps of times.wished sometimes Mary had given Gresham s bury the flick after the way she was treated by the would be but could never be Lady Arabella.What a terrible age to have lived in,especially if you had too do the dirty work for the "upper classes"

Excellent version of Dr Thorne

A great version of one of Trollope’s most entertaining novels. The narrator was excellent and most of his characterisations were strong. Trollope’s witty but perceptive description of the ways of the Victorian upper classes is on a par with some of his other novels.
