The sequel to The Lightning Thief, Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters is now available to download, unabridged, on audio.
Percy Jackson has had a quiet year. Not a single monster has set foot in his New York school. But when a game of dodgeball turns into a death match against an ugly gang of cannibal giants, things get . . . well, ugly.
And then Percy's friend Annabeth brings more bad news: the magical borders that protect Camp Half-Blood have been poisoned, and the only safe haven for young demigods is under threat.
To save their camp, Percy and his friends must embark on a quest that will take them into the treacherous Sea of Monsters and a desperate fight for their lives . . .

The Sea of Monsters is phenomenal ending on one great cliffhanger. Plus the balance between Greek mythology and todays society is still spot on. Jesse Bernstein is still doing an awesome performance as narrator.
"better than I expected"
Its not the best book in the series but certainly not the worst one either.
It was Great I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series thanks for reading my review
"Good book, shame about the reader..."
A great children's story - I like how it weaves a modern story in with elements of Ancient Greek Mythology. The main character can be painfully obtuse at times but you don't really mind that too much.
I have to say the my only gripe is the person reading it. Maybe it's me but he seems to be awful at putting expression in to dialogue and given that this story is written in the first person it can make it difficult to enjoy.
Still, once you do get past the narrator it's still a good yarn.
"This narrator is abysmal"
The story is great but I came so close to turning this off because the narrator is unbelievably annoying. His inflections are all off, leaving sentences hanging in midair like a question for no good reason. His falsetto voice he uses for every female character is also grating. I'd definitely vote you buy the book, and skip this torture!!
A most intriguing ending, onto book 3... great story, characters, plot and feeling. Great great great great
I liked the idea of the book and when I read it I thought it was brilliant. This version unfortunately wasn't as good but is still very likeable and fun to listen too.
I liked it loads. 🙂🙃
author and reader keep you intersted and on the edge of your seat bringon more
I have really enjoyed both this and lightning thief. My biggest problem is the sound quality which isn't great
"Sea of monsters"
I like that it's about the Greeks.I would recommend this for 7-16.Presented really well and is a great story for it is educational.
I think this Is an awesome book because there's lots of tense and eximent. And you can realy relate to the characters
"Loved the Story"
Loved the story, but the reader was awful.
He has a good guy voice and a bad guy voice. It can be really confusing.
"Amazing and good quality"
The quality of the reading was very good and the book was written very well. I would recommend it to 9-12 year olds. Congratulations to Rick Riorden and Jesse Bermstien.
