Nationally syndicated radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh has long wanted to make American history come to life for the children of his listeners. In Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims, he created the character of a fearless middle-school history teacher named Rush Revere, who travels back in time and experiences American history as it happens, in adventures with exceptional Americans. In this second book in the series, Rush Revere is transported back to the people and events leading up to the American Revolution.

The fact that my son so enjoyed listening and was able to retain the information.
It had to be Liberty. My son and I laughed often.
What a great series. It is a true service Mr. Limbaugh has done for our young people. My son can't wait for the next book, and he has started to take a real interest in our history and current events.
"Adventures with Exceptional "class""
I would recommend this for an adult or child. It would be fun to do as a family read, using a chapter at a time and leaving them wanting more. If you match it with the paperback, they can read along. Even better!
It is a positive look at the First Patriots with a little technology mixed in to make it seem more relevant to kids and even some adults, that live and die by the cell phone and internet.
I enjoyed the "Pilgrims" book and await a new book in the time travel series.
I chuckled several times. I love the horse and the kids.
Forget any prejudice or preconceived feelings concerning Limbaugh and just enjoy. History come to life is always more engaging for young people, and this does the trick.
"You just might learn something"
Without a doubt written for a young audience...but this book is a fun romp through history that will have your kids learning more than you did in school. It appears someone did some extensive research for this book (maybe Limbaugh himself or maybe one of his staff). Anyway, I enjoyed the book, but had more fun watching my kids get into it. Funny thing is my 11 year old thought she was too grown up for it. I started it for my 8 year old and before long, my daughter was reading along with the hardback version as well. On her own, she has already gone back and listened to the first one as well. I recommend this one for a great family listen.
"Over the top!"
Liberty is awesome.
I cannot think of one. History books are not exciting. This is.
His voice is easy to listen to. Intriguing. Keeps me waiting for more.
Please, keep this series going.
"Fantastic book and reading!!"
Highly recommend for educators and homeschool families. My children 6-16 all enjoyed this adventure!! 👏🏻
"A fantastic listen!"
My 12 year old dear daughter thoroughly enjoyed his voices! She learned a lot about history while enjoying it tremendously.
"I am amazed by how much I learned!"
I will gladly listen to both his books in this series again and again. Not only is Rush's reading engaging, but the story line AND the historical facts describing America's fight for FREEDOM has inspired me.
I liked best his engaging story line, sprinkled with plenty of humor and seasoned with historical fact.
His ability to communicate through the spoken word is most helpful to me.
I laughed out loud several times.
I heartily recommend this book to all adults who love America -- oh, and by the way, to their children as well.
"great for all a really makes history come to life"
great for all ages really makes history come to life for those that are having trouble understanding history this should really help you out
"Rush Does It Again!"
Excellent story and performance. I really enjoy reliving history with the kids from Manchester Middle School. Not only do I learn something or am reminded of something I knew but the interaction of all the characters are very entertaining, lighthearted and positive. The talking, time traveling horse "Liberty" is a real hoot! Once I start it's hard to stop listening. Looking forward to the next adventure!
"entertainment and learning for all!"
Our family of 5 listened to this on a long car ride. My children are 7,9, and 11 y.o. They didnt want to stop or get out of the car. They were enthralled with this book. My husband and I enjoyed it as well. What a great way to teach children about America and its great hostory!
