"the author is Julia Donaldson not Davidson "
The only criticism I have is that the person who announces the book says the author is Julia Davidson. The author deserves her due credit.
the audio voice data the wrong last name for the author, but the book is cute.
"Cute little story."
This is a cute little story, but I wish that this audio book edition included the illustrations.
These are the cutest, entertaining books I've heard in a long time!!! Love it and my grandkids too!!!
Its Not too short or too long! Perfect for bedtime! My son and I loved it!
" Listen to the sample narration before purchasing."
My kiddos and grandkids LOVE the BBC production... this not so much. All were excited to listen to the story and were greatly disappointed.
I'm just not convinced by this narrator. It's a pretty lacking performance. Sounds like someone's uncle reading the book for the first time. 👎🏼
"Short, sweet and fun"
Following the mouse through the forest; it's a short, fun story; we listened to Gruffalo already.
Yes, the voices are great.
No, it's a short, fun story for kids
My 4-year old and I love this book. It's so witty and enternaining. It is best enjoyed if you also have "The Gruffalo" because you can best savour the author cleverness in the succesion of the story. The reading is super entertaining and catching, i see myself many times saying "Aha! Oho! Marks in the snow!" You will love it!
The Gruffalo -- same people.
His voices were horrible. The narration for the Gruffalo movie was top-notch, so my expectations (rather ignorantly) were for something similar. It was horrible, which made the listening horrible, even for my kids.
The narration is not tolerable, even for the few shorts minutes it takes to listen to this book.
