Captivating, enchanting, celtic charisma in HD!
Giants, swindlers, theifs, slaves, and fae. Humour, wit, and going against the odds with pride by your side. Lessons in humility, with a hint of the occasional secret moral or warning...
Joesph Jacobs, an Austrlian born individual, dedicated his life to Fairy Tales. This is a reading of selected portions of his work.
Cathy Dobson has a wonderful voice, however, at times, I am unsure if there is a bit of spin on emphasis that has confused me or the impossible names of characters that threw me off.
All Fairy Tales have their dark side, and Joesph Jacobs doesn't censor his capturing and retelling of some of these. My daughter had a listen and enjoyed a fair few of these to and from school in the car.
If you're a fan of Grimms Fairy Tales, Greek Mythology, or Norse, this will be fun for you, also.
I love it when the extremes of our nature can be portrayed and symbolised in meditation, narrative, and folklore. Lifetimes can be learned from stories, if your ears and eyes are hearing or reading between the lines...
